I think Ole Miss and Oregon cover fairly easily.

I have Oklahoma winning an ugly game at home.

Miami upsets A&M.

Just don’t love at all how Bama and A&M looked to finish the year.
This seems about right. I have a little nuance about that OM score though. I think they have a scare in the first half but pull away easily in the second and cover.

Just hard for me to shake OM beating them 45-10 the first time. I doubt it’s that lopsided the second time, but I don’t believe at all Tulane can win. Especially given the atmosphere will probably be a strong one. Get the sense OM fans will try to rally around their players in a big way for this one.

Georgia should end their season but I don’t think they have much trouble with Tulane.

Yeah, but Oklahoma offense is awful and has been all year. Bama outgained them 406 yards to 212. Oklahoma is a fraud and will get exposed.

As for A&M-Miami, who knows. Neither one really impresses me. But A&M is at home so I'm going with them.

I guess my thing with Oklahoma is winning ugly is kinda their schtick. And Bama can’t run the ball at all. So I expect this one is not going to be a super pleasant watch. And it’s in Norman this time whereas the first one is in Tuscaloosa.

A&M-Miami is definitely a toss up and hard to trust either team or either QB. It’s interesting that both of them beat Notre Dame and then basically a bunch of nobodies. I think Ohio State probably crushes the winner of this one regardless.

Home teams rolled last year. Guess I see no reason why that won't continue.

I don't think Ole Miss wins by nearly as much, but they do win. Intrigued by aTm/Miami and Bama/OU. If I had to bet money I'd go with both home teams.

If last year continues to this one, I'd say that should accelerate going to 16 teams and also playing all of them at neutral sites. That's only 15 games. Championship, Sugar, Orange, Fiesta, Rose, Citrus/Capital One, Cotton, Peach, Sun, Gator, Holiday, Reliaquest/Outback/Tampa/whatever, Las Vegas, Alamo, Pinstripe. Nice and spread out and they have cool names. We do this for basketball so I don't see the issue.

Couple that with getting rid of conference championships and neutral site regular season games. Regular season is for on-campus. Postseason is for neutral site.

I think that's a decent system.

Everyone covers. JMU and Tulane are blown out. Only one I feel shaky about is Alabama.

The only thing that matters is who's left playing in January when it gets to the actual big boy playing games.

These December games are consolation prizes. Just like they were in 2024 and just like they will be every year going forward.

I think OM will roll, using the "use against the world" mantra. Also concerned they will give UGA a close game.

OM would possibly make it interesting if the game was played in Oxford. Georgia will do worse to OM than they did to Bama, especially after coming off a long rest.

I am really interested to see the heavy weight games start in January. Texas Tech or Oregon will make it to the semis which just seems out of balance when you have Ohio State/A&M and Bama/Oklahoma/Indiana in the other brackets. And the championship may be determined by the Georgia vs Ohio State/A&M before the actual final game. A situation you would think the brackets could avoid.

Let's hope, but those lucky SOBs gave UGA everything they wanted in Athens. Obviously they also struggled against some weaker teams.

I like all the home teams this weekend, too. I think A&M's defense smothers Miami, while Bams's offense just can't seem to get in gear.

Earlier, I thought Bama was the best team in confetence despite their loss to FSU. They clearly are not anymore.

It won’t matter where UM & Georgia play. It won’t be close.

If you think about it, the reward for OM's season is a home bowl game against Tulane. Pretty exciting.

And a near unwinnable rematch at Georgia, currently probably the best overall team in the country.

Things really couldn't have gone any worse for them, considering they made the freaking college football playoffs. I mean they don't even get the notoriety that comes with being a playoff team........perception is that it was all Lane and now he's left so they are back to being 7-4 Ole Miss again.

Going forward Golding hired an up tempo OC guy so it's really boom or bust for them next year. If they drop, they are out of the spotlight likely for a while. If they keep the NIL flowing somehow and the OC can make it work, could be back.

No way I am calling Tulane winning. Ole Miss will out talent them but Ole Miss could get out coached. They better be ready and not looking past Tulane. Damn sure Tulane is not looking past Ole Miss.

Charlie Weis is still coaching the offense & Pete Golding is still coaching the defense. But really you or I could coach this Mississippi team to another win over Tulane. They’ll meet a much more focused & dialed in Georgia team in New Orleans in a couple of weeks though.

I might tune into the game but most likely not. That probably be the only game I don't watch. Shame Ole Miss got so lucky on scheduling. Like the committee purposely put them in 6th place to get them a G5 team they have already beaten. How you get such a easy SEC schedule and the second easiest first round game.

Back to back rematches in 1st two rounds. And another rematch in Bama-Okie. Very poor job by the committee. That’s not good for college football no matter who the teams are.

Any common sense would have Ole Miss playing Bama and OU playing Tulane, but we are talking about the committee. They have to get the human element out of the decision making as much as possible. Just go back to the BCS model and take top 12 teams.

UGA's defense is miles better now than it was the first time they played. OM will be without their sensei and Golding will have to make big boy decisions in the heat of the moment. UGA rolls
