That’s how I would rank them right now.
UGA/TN will work itself out by about 5:30 Saturday night however.

Definitely ain't gonna be 2 from the SEC this year. TN's gonna be the SEC's only hope IMO; don't see UGA pulling it off but I'm usually wrong on predictions so there you have it. Will be pulling for TN over UGA. Would prefer a deflated UGA team limping into Vegas with Natty Hopes Dashed. I'm thinking the only SEC team that makes the final 4 will the the winner in the ATL.

Sal you must be smoking the same thing Paul Pelosi was. What teams are better than the big three in the sec.

My gut is just tellin' me UGA and Bamer are vulnerable. Ohio State & MI may be better. Clemson maybe. Are there any teams in the Pac 10 still undefeated?

I think GA is going to spank Tenn in Athens. If Tenn played in Tuscaloosa they would have lost.

There will 100% be 2 from the SEC.

2 of 3 between Bama / UGA / Tenn….depending on various future outcomes. The SECCG winner will be there automatically…..who the other one is depends on how the dominoes fall.

Ohio State / Michigan winner

Clemson

If Clemson loses, might be possible for both OSU and Michigan to get in.

Nobody else has a chance. November 1st and already only 6 teams with a shot at a natty.

Because I've lived in Fort Worth now for 19 years, I've grown fond of TCU (one of the most beautiful neighborhoods you'll EVAH see) and I still get warm fuzzies thinking back when they crushed tsun in the Peach Bowl. For the last 6 months, my new residence is near their campus / stadium and believe me, What TALENT. I ain't Schittin' ya on that. I've near 'bouts had 3 wrecks going to Kroger cuz of it. Would love to see those guys sneak in if they could but I also realize that's a long shot. I hate everybody in the SEC except us basically. I'd like to see just one this year and spread the wealth. Think it would be good overall for the game.

TCU is sitting at #7 undefeated and has a good chance to run the Big 12 table (Texas Tech, Texas, Baylor, Iowa State are left). As of right now, the only thing standing in the way of that happening is that they travel to Austin to play Texas and/or if Kansas State knocks them off in a rematch in their championship game.

All of the teams ranked above them right now (except Clemson) will play another team in the top 6 in either the regular season (OSU/Mich, UGA/Tenn) or in a theoretical championship game (UGA/Bama, Tenn/Bama).

If TCU wins out, they'll be an undefeated Power 5 conference champion. There is no way they get left out to put in a 1-loss non-champion.

Yep. Would love to see that and see all the neighborhood excitement that would happen right where I live but again, based on YTD performance even though they are undefeated thus far, I'm not quite sure they could pull it off but sure would love it if they did. NIL is great for schools like TCU because they may not be huge but DAMN they are LOADED with CASH.

I did forget about TCU. They may have a small window, but I honestly don’t see them going 5-0 and tacking on another win over Oklahoma State or Kansas State.

Regarding the statement above, I agree unless its a 1-loss non champion from the SEC. Example - UGA finishes 12-0 in the regular season (beating UT) loses to Bama again in the SECCG. Ohio State wins out. Clemson wins out. There’s no way that TCU gets selected over a 12-1 UGA. Flip flop UGA and Tennessee in that scenario, same result.

The most compelling case would be if UGA and Tennessee both win out except against each other, and beat Bama in the SECCG. Then you have the case of a 13-0 TCU vs. an 11-1 Tennessee or UGA for the last spot. I think we all know who the better team would be in that scenario, and the CFP committee would too. But it would be a closer decision than the other 2 scenarios.
