Until we beat Alabama under the Saban regime, anyone who predicts we will beat them is stupid. I don't count that 1st year because they aren't even close to the same team. We've lost to them by a total of 73 points over the last 3 years. I know we play them at home, but I still don't think we beat them.

9-3 is going to be tough. I don't think we will lose to Auburn, which is where I'm assuming the L next to the off week was supposed to go. I think it's more reasonable to think we would lose to SC. I think we will screw up somewhere along the way, like maybe Georgia. 7-5 is the worst case, but I will stand by my original prediction of 8-4 with a win over either LSU or SC, which would be a big time win for us.

So that equals it out with Saban having Shula's players.... I say count it. I still laugh when I think that Croom beat Saban.

they have Kentucky beating us at home on the Kentucky predictions. Then, they have us winning at Kentucky for our predictions. Make a decision, CFN...

Saban also lost to Lousiana-Monroe that year, spawning the billboard on I-20 that every Alabama fan had to look at on their way to the Indy Bowl.

I am pretty surewhen the week begins in which we playLSU our boys crap their pants in fearthinking that they have to play LSU next. We play terrified against them home or away. We never beat them, like once in the last 15 years, I will never count that a win. In preseason predictions spare yourself....go ahead and make it a loss. regardless of how good we are supposed to be or how awful they seemto be. Yeah....lol I looked it up their streak against us is 10. with the mad hatter, without the mad hatter, saban, dinardo, archer, whomever. They always kick our donkey.

Since Mullen has been here, I just don't see why we should be so scared of LSU. We were a taller qb away from beating them 2 years ago, and last year it was early in the season and we had terrible turnovers by our inexperienced qb's and offense. We have an experienced offense coming back and I really don't think that Mullen gives a damn that we haven't beaten them in forever, nor do I believe he fears the LSU on their jerseys. As long as Miles is their coach they are constantly going to be in close games, and the majority of the time the ball bounces in Miles favor. But we have LSU at home again this year and I really believe that we can win this one.

The common answer from level headed MSU fans this year will be that we will finish 8-4 again, with 7-5 being the worst. Personally, I think 9-3, or even 10-2(if we catch a couple of GREAT bounces) is reasonable this year, 8-4 will be average and expected in my book for this coming season...... flame away

I think if we are going to beat them this would be one of our better chances if you look at Bama's schedule. It definitely sets up as a trap game for them. I'm not gonna say we will beat them, just saying out of the last couple of years this is our best chance (I think anyway).

but I just don't see Bama losing a game all year. They have Ark and LSU at home, but I couldn't pick a better spot for us to play them. They will (most likely) be coming off a big win vs LSU and all they will see is a cool breeze the rest of the way with poor ol MSU, Georgia Southern and a down year Auburn team.
