When teams meet twice in the same year they almost always go 1-1 against each other (unless one team is substantially better than the other). History has shown this to be true over and over. It would have been against the norm if Alabama hadn’t won the rematch.

Bama just won the first playoff road game. Pretty cool. BYU should not have been in the playoff by any measure. I do feel like ND should have been in over Bama. No idea if they would have won on the road. As another stated, it’s hard to beat a team twice, especially if you’re equal talent

Miami should have centered the ball there and used its timeout, to make the FG easier. Ran two pointless plays, missed the FG, and took their timeout with them to the locker room. Dumb.

I like defense but this is offensive and special teams ineptitude far more than world class defense. Another terrible game, so far.

I really think the transfer portal is hurting the quality of football across the country. No continuity of roster and coaching at this level results in **** product.

Arkansas and ND both gave up 40+ to A&M.

Units develop as the season goes on, see Ohio States offense last year.
