Actually the line had pushed to -8 when the game was moved to turf, but then the snow brought out the bad weather equalizer money.

Glen Ellyn money is waiting for a more favorable line after the C-G money settles.

Should I bring my snow blower?
Seat cushions for sure. I doubt the GBS staff will be shoveling off the stands for us. And, since it is their concession stand and they have been done and closed up two weeks ago, I wonder what they will have on the short notice. Kind a like the lack of porta potties in '12. Maybe they pull 'em when their season is over and then only order a few for this one time event

The houses by Duchon are at least low 7 figures (maybe higher) there's literally nothing that can be done unless they pick another field somewhere.
Are all the Glenbards under the same district? Sounds like it'd be more efficient use of resources just to share full time. As much as it would suck for GBW.

North, South, West, and East are all under D87.

And if I as a tax payer in that district, I would agree. I would much rather see West play at South in these situations, than have to put in some multi-million dollar project at West.

agreed...save the money, shift the games when needed.

Biggest downside Saturday is the draconian "no-reentry" rule at GS. So those that want good seats have to go in at 11:30 (not earlier or they will throw away your seats) and sit in the freezing snow for 90 minutes waiting for the game to start. At GW, we do it the more genteel way where the valets do it.

Will that be the policy? Aren't GW folks running the gate? Also at the Moline game at South GW ran concessions. I assume it will be same.

Sat in the rain for 90 minutes due to GSnazis. Asked GW AD to change considering single digit wind chills, so we will see if he can get it done

CAP any ideas of sideline heaters for the boys!! I remember a few years ago in one of our other semi games CG provided rental heaters. Just saying all the boys are tough but....

I have not heard anything about heaters, but I am not in the inner circle. Pretty sure rules are if you rent for yourself, you rent for both. My guess is ADs have agreed that single digit wind chills with likely significant snow fall warrants the safety of having heaters.

I would imagine the powers to be at west would prefer to run the gate themselves so they can get the revenue from ticket sales, to pay for said heaters and porta potties.

I realized this after I posted it, but doesn't the IHSA get all ticket sales from playoff games?

The policy of GS limiting in and out was in place in 2012 vs LZ and this year vs Moline. Not sure what their purpose is other than foiling parking lot drinking.

Maybe, just maybe, they will take pity and allow us to stay warm before the game. We have asked, let's see if they allow

To stay warm by parking lot drinking?

Nahhhh. Don't know why it never occurred to me before, but I bought two tickets. One to set out the seats, and another to go to the game. IHSA goit their extra $6 from. Now I can have a coc....um, stay warm before the game.

Not sure the broadcast could do that game justice. Going North into stiff wind and heavy snow was unbearable.

Pennington is an absolute beast. Never left the field as far as i could tell.

Brodner was just too much. Not sure if the broadcast said how many yards he had. Wow

GW as good as advertised; and Brodner is a wrecking machine. Good luck next week!
