Chad Bumphis question

Everybody talks about how disappointing his season was last year, but i thought i read somewhere that he was playing hurt for most of last year. Didn't I read that somewhere or is this just the result of two many concussions on my part?

2 issues last year, first he was nicked up a bit but secondly he had very little chemistry with Relf in the passing game. He and Tyler are much more on the same page with what's going on with the passing game.

He was playing not to get hurt last year. That broken collarbone was still on his mind so he didn't want to catch anything over the middle and was very quick to get out of bounds before contact.

Bumphis looks much bigger to me. He looks like he's added 20lbs of muscle atleast. Especially his legs. He looked like a RB in his first catch vs UT where he pushed the DB back 4 yds to get the 1st down.

I was thinking the same thing. What a difference a year can make
