If there were no privates like the big 4..south Charlotte would need a couple more schools to accommodate all those kids, more than just Prov, AK, SM and MP. That part of the county is congested and very populated. You add 1-3 more high schools there and it evens out, although AK and providence might benefit.
Like Bigdadd said, suburban kids can definitely play. During Knotts run at Indy, Indy, butler, East meck, and providence were at times the 4 best teams in the state all in the same conference. Indy and East meck were more inner city schools by perception at that moment, butler was kind of suburban but had some good tough kids and was sort of diverse, and providence was and always has been very suburban with mostly upper middle class to wealthier families. All 4 schools were very tight in ball games with each other and had very different demographically built teams. Some of those schools have changed somewhat demographically, but not providence.
As for chambers, shame shame shame. Those rings are tainted in my opinion and those coaches know it. They have disappeared off social media now that the party got busted, and I don’t respect that. If you can win in front of a crowd, you should be able to respectfully lose in front of one also. Those were the loudest dudes on social media for a good 2-3 seasons. The young men that they coached should not look up to them when it comes to how they have responded to this situation, although I’m sure those coaches have love for the kids they coached and taught them many great things that they can apply to life beyond football.
