Today was the only game of the tournament that I was able to go to....I'm glad I made the trip. This team has a been a lot of fun to be around this year. Even got one of the players (don't remember who after about 1500 pics today) to take my picture with the trophy during all the postgame celebrating! Anyway, some of these photos are on hailstate.com, but there are a lot more here and plenty of celebration photos. And yes, there are some Jenn Brown photos!..got my picture taken with the trophy but not with her....dumbest decision I made today. Enjoy!

im in the market for a new one....I read the reviews on kenrockwell.com but still can't decide....would like to hear your opinion on a good one.....more for portrait type photos like you take, but more or less for kids in sports the next few years....

I can do that....I'll make it easy on people and go ahead and crop it for some standard screen resolutions. If anybody wants it and has a crazy screen resolution put it in this thread. I'll crop the picture by itself, and I may even make a background with a couple pictures in it.

I'm shooting with a Canon 7D camera frame, and most of the time I use a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.... http://www.bhphotovideo.c...0mm_f_2_8L_IS.html The 7D camera frame is 1.6 instead of full frame so it's actually like shooting roughly a 110-320mm lens on a full frame.

I shot most of the celebration stuff with a 15mm f/2.8 fisheye lens because I was going to be out there on the field with a lot of other people getting in the way if I'd used a long lense...you can tell in some of the pictures that it bends the background somewhat but it's not too bad on the 7D camera since it's not a full frame camera body. Occasionally, I shoot some stuff with a 300mm f/4 from further down the lines or to get outfield shots. I really need to add a big 300 or 400mm f/2.8 lens, but they're just ridiculously expensive and I can't justify the cost right now.

Some of this may have made no sense to you, but if you're shooting Canon, the 70-200mm is a great all purpose lens. You can probably find a cheaper lens if you get a Sigma or another off brand instead of a Canon. They're usually pretty good, but I can't really say anything about the comparable quality because I've never used the other lenses.
