I know Graveman is out for Monday. Would we bring him back Tuesday on three day's rest or save him for a possible game Wednesday? I assume Monday would the Fitts / Girodo combination.
Watching the UNC/UCLA game it looks like UCLA is all bit admitting they suck at the plate by trying to get hit by pitches and pretending they did get hit. They obviously have good pitching but when you can't hit your way out of a wet paper bag that is pretty much a necessity. So far we have shown the ability to hit everyone's elite pitchers and hit them hard. Much rather face a team that sucks at the plate than a team that has the potential to explode at the plate on top of good pitching.
I hope UNC wins tonight and UCLA tomorrow in games that decimate both staffs.
