They play a monster schedule with Bird Manchester etc. I had a feeling this one was coming. JR is much improved plus chancellor has no defense

Just an upset on paper. Chancellor crushed them last year and has multiple D1 players, don't cha know?
D-1 don't mean nothing to me, if they can't play football as a team. I have seen many many teams that beat superstars. The key word there is TEAM. Louisa is a team because of solid coaching, so are a lot of other teams. I think Chancellor is missing something.
Did Chancellor come away injury free? Cougars going to give them a game, its a rivalry game. When these two get together the records usually do not matter, and Courtland matches up better with a spread team than a power running team. gonna be a game!
Upset? Absolutely! The Chargers showed up with the game won. At least in their mind. The Chargers kicked off to JR, forced a punt and walked it down the field in like 4 plays and scored. Awesome. Then, you could just see them relax. They had this one won and proved in in the first 4 minutes. Except JR is not that bad of a team. They promptly rattled the Chargers cage and forced punt after punt. The D was kept on the field so much they were exhausted. The more they stayed on the field the more frustrated everyone became. The bottom line, the Chargers played a great 4 minutes of football last night. Unfortunately, the game is 48 minutes long.
Sorry I didn't post last night. It was a long day and I was beat by the time I got back here.
And yes, if the Chargers continue to play like they did last night, they won't be the ones to win the Battlefield! They have put their "Mission" at risk.

Yeah, James River had two big wins already and two losses to undefeated Richmond area teams. They only lost by 7 to Manchester and the Lancers took down L.C. Bird.
I don't think losing to JR as a 4A school tells us much. I doubt many 4A schools in the state are going to play with the Richmond area's elite 5A and 6A programs.

I really don't understand this Chancellor team. They have the talent and a decent schedule, but just can't put a run together.

Lack of team discipline, and adversity within the coaching staff, will do any good team in.
