He literally can only stand on the perimeter and wait for a catch and shoot
He won the UT game at their place by jumping the lane and getting a steal from reading their action while they were trying to tie it with a minute to go. He helped win the LSU game by having an arm and an accurate one. That just happened this season. Chandler in proper shape and a better handle can be a problem. Especially at the 6th man role (which is about 25 minutes a game, you can't call him a 6th man and then say he's a 10 to 12 mpg player, those are not the same thing)

He might be replaceable if we had a serviceable coach, but with Pope there is no guarantee the replacement will be any better.
So either way I'm not going to stress it. If he can't get better then we already know what next year holds. We already know anyway. Let them all leave. I'm ok with signing a bunch of 3 and 4 star absolute dogs. Get some ppl like the mason kid and some guards with extremely good ball handling. Get some big mean dudes down low. Get some strong athletic dogs on the wing.

I don't give a **** about stars anymore. Pope better get creative.

Get 12 guys that want to dive on the floor every possession if needed.

If we don’t it will be a repeat story next year double digit loses
Well I thought he wasn’t good enough according to the fan base. Maybe we will get someone better? I haven’t seen a big portal player enter the portal yet.
portal doesn’t open officially until April 7

I dont understand why he hasn't developed his game further offensively. Right now its a 3 or break away dunk. Not beating a dead horse on our coaching but a opportunity missed on enhancing his game.

He's a good free throw shooter but he never drives to the basket fully and always stops in the paint? Man learn a floater or mid range jumper.
Yeah I definitely wish he would work on his handle and offensive moves to get to the basket more. He has the athleticism to do it.

Good shooters are valuable and I would not like to see him leave.

Though, if he does leave, there's potential for the POOP WHIFFS EVEN WHEN HES NOT RECRUITING SOMEONE joke, so there's that.

Collin improved tremendously from year 1 to year 2. Can he make the additional leap next season?

As many have stated, he needs to improve his ball handling and develop the ability to use a shot fake and his quickness to get to the basket. If he can improve in these areas, he can be a dangerous offensive player. His leaping ability should allow him to get his shot off and draw fouls.

He is a mature young man, has 2 years now at UK, and can be a team leader. I feel he deferred to Otega and Denzel to a fault and will be more assertive next year.

I think many forget he is a rising junior! He will work on his weaknesses and is a key player to retain IMO.

That is A-OK. Don't blame him one bit. If I was UK I'd not make him a huge offer just to keep him. There will be available players if Mark can close them.
I keep seeing this take, and can't disagree more. I just don't see many Quality centers in the portal!

Cal really struggled to find 1 last year, and think he will this year as well! Wouldn't be surprised if he is putting in a high dollar offer!

For what?

This kid would be 6th or 7th man on an elite Kentucky team. I'll take him back, but definitely not losing any sleep over it.
Elite team, we’re gonna have an elite team next year? It’s gonna be elite. I mean, I always hear all this hype. Nevertheless, she’s told a few different people she’s staying in Utah this year. The other concern is if Chandler plays he may not come until August. That’s what someone told me. I mean I don’t know. I’m an insider man. I just pay attention to what’s going on and kinda use reason I’ve been pretty correct though about a lot of things so take it for what it’s worth.

Chandler shot 34% from the field and 24% from three in the month of March. Once defenses keyed in on him he couldn’t do anything
Chandler has to get the gym tomorrow. He’s got a game about 15 pounds maybe 20 pounds 15 is probably good and a muscle of course needs to get 15-20 pounds of muscle on them so that he can bully his way. It’s really only thing preventing him from becoming a real stud little bit more muscle so she’s a stronger player when you’re gonna get what you get with this ball handling that’s not gonna change. He’s never gonna be a point guard but if you put some muscle on them, he could play kind of like Oweh but the problem is every year the off-season these guys come out looking like average ordinary people. It doesn’t look like they have a solid strength and conditioning program. I feel like it’s like show up and get into the condition through playing you know like play your way into shape. That’s just too late those freaking November games matter too much now and to be honest I mean pope needs to like make a big splash. He really needs to come out with a number one of one or two seed next year.
