We're excited to share several major updates coming to Humphrey Coliseum for the upcoming Mississippi State Basketball season - including new premium seating options and enhancements to the gameday experience!

In coordination with the new SEC courtside policies, aimed at improving the gameday atmosphere across the league, several adjustments are being made inside The Hump:

Team Benches Flipping Sides
Both the MSU and visiting team benches will now be located on the east side of the arena, bringing a new look to the sideline setup.

New and Expanded Premium Seating Options
• NEW Courtside Bench Seats:

◦ A brand new offering of ten (10) total seats located directly between the scorers table and each team bench. The most visible and immersive seats in the coliseum will put you closer to the action than ever before. These seats are available in one set of six (6) and one set of four (4).
◦ Seat purchase includes access to the Courtside Club, in-seat servicing, access to the Legends Club, and a VIP Parking Pass at the south entrance of Humphrey Coliseum.

• EXPANDED Courtside Seating:
◦ Experience the game with your feet on the hardwood! We've expanded courtside seating along the west side of the arena, giving even more fans the chance to enjoy the atmosphere from the floor.
◦ Seat purchase includes access to the Courtside Club, in-seat servicing, and access to the Legends Club.

• NEW Courtside Loge Tables:
◦ The access of court level seating with the convenience of a countertop and elevated sightlines. These newly added tables are directly behind the team benches and offer a premium gameday experience.
◦ Seat purchase includes access to the Courtside Club, in-seat servicing, and access to the Legends Club.

• NEW Concourse Countertops:
Get a fresh perspective with added comfort. Located above Sections 102, 110, 112, and 120, these countertop seats offer extra elbow room and dedicated surfaces for your food and drinks - almost identical to the current top row of the Legends Club.
◦ Seat purchase includes access to the Legends Club.

The sec had to order us to change the courtside atmosphere? Sorry, they dont like our empty seats or selling to guaranteed hand sitters?

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t they swap the bench sides maybe 10 years ago?

Yes, I think so. I suppose this means that we'll be able to see the benches on television? Hopefully that's the case. Pretty sure we could see the benches when Vic was at State, so it may have not quite been 10 years. Hopefully they didn't move the cameral stands to the other side.

All the camera equipment has never moved so I would assume it will stay where it is so we should be able to see the bench.

This sounds like a great idea for enhancing the gameday experience for the bigger donors.
Now just make sure the students are lower level and mostly behind the visiting team goal in the 2nd half. This shouldn’t be too hard to make happen but it seems so.

It's reverse mojo. We will now fill up what used to be the visitors goal with record breaking points. We are tired of letting them shoot on the good goal.
