I don't see how it would make it last that much longer honestly unless we're talking about teams with absolutely no defense. Not sure how I would feel about this... had to see it would work before I say I'm fully behind it, but they could add another rule to force uneven scoring to try to draw the game to an end. Instead of flipping the teams (go offense first series then in the next OT go defense in the first series) if the scoring persists, make the team on offense have to score a TD along with having to go for 2 even on 4th down. If they miss, they other team has the option to kick a FG, but a TD will win it. If they get a FG, then the last team has the option to make it back on the field. I don't know if they get the TD if they should end the OT then or let the other team back on the field and try to go for a TD themselves.<div>
