Charles Barkley, an interesting observation

Barkley is very open with his opinions, obviously. He is a liberal, but not an ideologue. In other words, he doesn't toe the line and sometimes goes off the "black" reservation that Dems have established for blacks. He understands that and here was his response:



NBA legend Charles Barkley has opened his mouth and offended someone again.

Taking aim once more at the black community, Barkley was asked in an interview with The Shadow League about those critics who question his “blackness”:

"I don't worry about that. Listen, my track record speaks for itself. The one thing I've learned as a Black man is every time I say something that is not 100 percent in agreement with the Black community there's a faction that goes crazy. I don't care about that. People say to me 'Man, did you just give a million dollars to a Historically Black College?''

"I say, 'Yeah.' And they say, 'Well, why didn't you tell anybody?' and I say, 'I'm not trying to impress those cocks*ckers.' I just gave Morehouse, Clark Atlanta and Alabama A&M in Huntsville a million dollars to help black kids go to college. I just gave Auburn two million to recruit black kids. I'm good with my blackness. Listen, man, one thing I understand about being black and famous is a lot of black people are full of sh*t. I'm good with that."

I don't agree with his politics but I find it amusing that it's Leftist Blacks that have the most problems with his frankness. What does THAT tell you?

Obviously. How can your politics change your Race? Well, according to Left wing radical Blacks, easily. I'm not Black to them...I'm "frontin"afraid of my own Race and rejection by Conservative White people.

I actually had one Black friend who's on the Left suggest this to me. I asked him what he's afraid of?

He said "nothing". "I'm Black and I'm proud!"

I asked him if he's afraid of successfully standing on his own? Could he without the "race" crutch to blame as an excuse for his failure?

He got mad at me.
