Charles Barkley doesn't like Stans offense either

Don't know if Coach and Fish missed it but during halftime of the Cleveland disaster last night Sir Charles was ripping the Cavs coaching staff and their "throw it to one guy and everybody stands around and watches him" offense. Which is pretty much what Stans does.

Even with the best player in the league on your team it's a bad offense to run and somewhat painful to watch. Mike Brown = NBA version of Stans at this point.

because I seem to recall the Suns running that very offense for Charles when he was there, with the occasional Majerle 3. Throw it down to Charles while he backs his man down and either drop steps to the basket or pulls forthe fade away.

That's one thing that we've definitely done the last few years: we've pushed the tempo for sure.

Barkley didn't seem to have any problem at all with that offense when he was the 1 guy with the ball while the other 4 just stood around the perimiter.</p>

It's not always one guy. They were showing clips last night that when Lebron didn't have the ball he was just standing in the corner watching everyone else as well. It's just a total lack of movement in the offense, much like MSU's.

Although I agree we do push the ball more the past few years with Dee - maybe b/c we didn't really have an offensive post player.

I don't really recall the KJ/Barkley/Marjle Suns offense so I'd have to go to ESPN Classic and watch a few games.
