You don’t huh?
It’ll cause all kinds of problems.
It’s about more important things than wins at some point.
What kinds of problems are you anticipating? That the team is going to revolt over Noah Williamson losing minutes? I can just about guarantee you that the players who are benefiting from having a talented new teammate midseason aren’t going to give a single crap about the implications for NCAA rules if that’s what you’re trying to say.

Made his bed.
Made the decision to leave.
He should have to be held accountable with that decision now.
These kids are trying to take advantage of ignorant loopholes to make more $$$$. Who the hell wants to run a program like that? I believe this stuff gets nipped pretty quickly.
They aren’t trying anything. They are doing it. Until it’s stopped it’s not. He made his bed ? Well looks like he’s been doing good before all this and even better now. Good bed to be laying in for a high level d1 / professional loser. I bet he’s a gangsta thug also lol

I would bet if he gets to play at Alabama that lockeroom looks like a party about right now. Getting fitted for rings already. Jk I dount he makes them an auto bid for the title. I doubt he hurts them either.
He’s not that much better, if any, than that Sheriff dude, and Oats darn sure can’t play them together because that would disrupt his whole offensive structure.

Big Question: If Alabama plays him for two games, and then NCAA deems him ineligible, Do they get an infraction?
Nope:

James H. Roberts Jr. of the Tuscaloosa Circuit Court ruled that Bediako "is immediately eligible" to participate in all team activities with the Crimson Tide. He also ruled that the NCAA is "restrained from threatening, imposing, attempting to impose, suggesting or implying any penalties or sanctions" against Bediako, Alabama, its coaches or players.

He wasn't ruled eligible. A court just granted him a TRO until they can have a hearing. No way Bama is dumb enough to play him given if he's ruled ineligible (which he will be) it could have serious implications on their season.

If this sticks, I'm done with college sports. No more TV money, no more ticket money, no more merchandise money. I'm done.

I’m noticing a pattern. When players appeal to federal courts they seem to get turned down. But when they appeal at a state level court in the state of their college, they seem to win. 😂

It's a 10 day (I think) TRO. It doesn't "rule" on anything. It just "allows" him to play while the courts sort it out.

FTR...the court isn't the jurisdiction in this case. The NCAA is the governing body. All they've done is issued a TRO so the courts can potentially rule on the eligibility issues. But, and here's the thing, their ruling wouldn't be a singular individual. It would be on an NCAA eligibility standard as a whole.

Because it’s out of control.
What happens to a car on the road that’s out of control? What happens to a kid that’s out of control with drugs or something?
Somewhere, there’s going to be a crash!!!
my point was that i have ZERO faith that the NCAA will step in quickly and take care of this. that's not how they operate

So my question is. What makes him eligible? He never made it to the NBA or what? What’s the stipulations? What players would be eligible based off this guy? And I’m sure nobody has the exact same story as him but why can he come back and not say…. Any player we ever had leave early that wasn’t quite nba material and has been playing overseas or something?
He has signed three different pro contracts. This is ridiculous.

Kahlil Whitney, EJ Montgomery, Ashton Hagans, Isaac Humphries... all eligible?

Plus, there's nothing to say we can't get guys who played for other schools besides UK.

Yeah go get Humphries and Whitney back. Hagans can be our PG. He is using his five year window after he went back and graduated high school again last year!

I’m not sure CBB wants to play that game with UK, Duke, and UNC alum with “remaining eligibility…”

Might be time to call in and collect on all that “la familia” talk. Cal did say it would pay dividends for the program.

Well let’s see if 16 years of using the program, fanbase, platform to launch a billion dollars worth of contracts was worth it.

UK was basically a venture firm providing ability for start ups to flourish.

Time to cash out our vested shares.
Plot twist: Cal was running a revolving door so he could call back the Avengers and destroy college ball indefinitely after a 15 year build up process.

It’s actually diabolical.

They all have multi tens of millions, some have 100s.

They really don’t need much NIL. In fact, they could be their own collective and actually give to the athletic department while playing.

Cal was on to something.

I bet he is really worried about that late admittance class load of "Underwater Basket Weaving", "Cultural Studies", etc. he will have to enroll in at age 23.

“Student athletes”, as best said by Cartman!

It should. But the NCAA is paralyzed with fear about this stuff.

They abused their power for so long this seems to be a reckoning.

What happens if you defy an Alabama circuit judge?
He should be ruled ineligible even if you have to pay him if he sues.
You have to send a message to G-league players that gaining NCAA eligibility will not be an easy road.
Trump defies judges over a lot more serious issues than a basketball players eligibility.

The NCAA has rolled over like a submitting dog.

That is my sense as an outsider and fan.

It seems like the NIL legal determination, hurt their woke feelings and now they are responding by further enabling the overt demise of traditional college athletics.

What is the NCAA role and purpose in the new college/university professional athletics ecosystem?

Being butt hurt and angry is no way to lead. And lord knows, the NCAA leadership is as incompetent as the federal and state governments.
LOL, learn what the word means before coming in here and trying to sound edgy.
