Unfortunate for him personally, but he's only averaging about 50 yards a game in conference. On the other hand, they don't have anyone else doing much at RB.

Enter Ridley.

ETA:

From the Advocate:

With Scott on the shelf, the most likely candidates to step in as the starting tailback are sophomore Stevan Ridley and senior Keiland Williams.

Ridley has rushed for 81 yards on 10 carries in the last two games and has produced the Tigers' last two rushing touchdowns.

Williams has accounted for 212 rushing yards on 44 carries with a pair of TDs, but his playing time has dwindled the last several weeks.

Trindon Holliday and Russell Shepard, the Tigers' two fastest players, could also get more carries in Scott's absence.

My point is that Dixon is a Scott like running back. If you want to run on Bama you have to run right at them. You cannot beat them to the corner.

Scott had 83 yards on 13 carries before getting hurt...I hope Dixon can have that kind of night to give us a chance

What happened to him? He was supposed to be one of the most dangerous players in the country a couple of years ago and now he can't even get on the field.

This is not intended to start a public-private school argument, but didn't Ridley play Mississippi private school ball?</p>

Ridley graduated from Trinity Episcopal in Natchez. He dominated for 4 years and set all kinds of MPSA records while leading Trinity to the state championship in '07. I only know this because I'm from Natchez and graduated from Trinity.
