First off, thanks for everything you do.

My question, is there a way to set up extra donation with NIL for wins. Such as for basketball, every SEC win, my account would take out $50 dedicated for basketball. For football, donate say $100 extra. I know that there would have to be a system set up for this and it might be too much to handle at this point. I just think the it would be nice "to have something to play for." I know that it would add up quicker in basketball if people would do something like this than football with the number of players. Not sure if yall have a small group already doing this. Thanks for any help, answer, assistance.

I've always heard that NIL cannot be performance base. I'm not sure if this is true or if it would qualify.

Right his NIL donation. Come on man. It’s not hard.

“Can I donate to NIL based on wins?” Yes.
I assume NIL still stands for Name, image and likeness. Meaning the donation goes to that person. Again, my understanding is that you cannot do NIL based on performance (ie-you pay them per touchdown).

You and him seem to be confusing it with a regular excellence fund/BI/BDC donation. But keep doubling down.

It would be a gray area. I would just give extra each win. If the NIL wanted to move more money after the season or renegotiate after the season began because they have more money then that's up to them...

I just feel like giving more when we win. If it's automatically deducted then I wouldn't have to think about it. I give annually and monthly but would be willing to give a little more after each win. I wouldn't miss it so much if I was giving it during the "high" after a win.

How the NIL wanted to work that out would be up to them. I'm sure lawyers know all too well how to navigate gray areas.

NIL stands for name image and likeness but that outside of a handful of cases, basically no NIL deals are for name, image, and likeness. It's strictly pay for play. It originally in theory wasn't supposed to be tied to playing for a particular school, much less performance. Not sure if the rules actually were changed or if the NCAA is just not enforcing them, but the very idea of having collectives is incompatible with true NIL deals. What are random schmoes contributing to collectives getting? I don't know how many collectives are even carrying on the pretense that it's for NIL by giving out autographs or other nominal cost things to contributors.

Seems I recall they couldn't even wear "logoed attire" at their autograph session or "shooting a local car commercial" (remember that always used and now quaint and noble example?).
