Charlottesville used a good ground game to take out Western Albemarle 56-35, earning their first win over the warriors since 2004. They host Louisa next week, who is coming off of a huge home win over Orange. Charlottesville will most likely have to beat the Lions to make the playoffs. The Knights are 5-4, the most amount of wins ever under coach Eric Sherry.

Congratulations to Coach Sherry (and one man!) for his first win over Western. Sounds like the kids played their butts off, next week should be a fun one in The Ville.
This was a nice win. Jefferson District sure is tough to figure out this year, but I thought the Knights were better than the Warriors this year most weeks.
