How bout at the end of the season if they finish in the Top 100 in Total Offense, I will quit posting for 2 weeks. If they finish 101 or higher, you quit posting for 2 weeks.

Not that that really settles them being a good offense or not, since finishing anywhere 65+ or higher to me qualifies not being good, but how bout it? 2 weeks no posting the day after their last game..

It doesn't matter who your QB is when your offensive line is that bad. Just admit you were wrong. Vandy's offense is a joke.

yet, when Adams got in there they had as much offense in 1 quarter as they did in the previous 3...in 5 quarters this season, Adams has won a game against Auburn and nearly pulled out an SEC road game that Nickson dug a deep hole in......

Next thing ya know, you are going to tell me Snead has had no influence on Mississippi's offense and the remarkable improvement they have had this year in going from 91st to 46th in just half a season....because Crooms said it took years to learn an offense and make great strides like that

I'm not going to get in it with you on this. I agree that Adams is better than Nickson. But if you can't admit that Vandy's offense is terrible then it's not worth the effort. We have the worst DE's in the SEC and we were in their backfield all game.

And are you really this dumb?...

Ole Miss has one of the better O-lines in the conference and that was my point. Vandy has no O-line. You would think a former coach would realize this.

yet with all these great linemen, they were 91st in the nation in offense last season...takes more than lineman...

My point is that Vandy has a great plan on offense, and now that they have the correct QB in there, prepare to watch their offense outplay ours the rest of the season..

I can admit that it does. I want to bet you that Vandy's offense, which you say is good - especially with their new quarterback - will not finish in the Top 100 offenses in the country at the end of the season, Division IA or whatever it's called now. I get 101-119 and you get 1-100.

Is it a bet?

2 weeks - no posting - starting the day after Vandy's last game for the loser.

I said from this day forward...last 6 games Vandy vs Us- Vandy has the correct QB in, and we have our offensive "identity" now according to Crooms....the next 6 games to see who has a better offense

The got the ball with 5 minutes left and down 3. Adams overthrew 2 receivers by 10 yards each. Then they got it back with 3-1/2 minutes and he threw a pick that was every bit as ugly as the one Nickson threw. Now I agree that he should be starting for Vandy, but he ain't Superman. And their offense is still going to struggle, especially now that they're about to face the toughest part of their schedule.</p>

Thanks to 2 games against very weak opponents. Go look what they have done against SEC competition. As a matter of fact I will put it out for you

Overall Vandy has rushed 233 times for 959 yards. That is an average of 4.11 Yards a carry. Against SEC competition they have rushed for 417 yards on 140 carries for a whopping 2.97 ypg

We have rushed for729 yards overall on 218 carries for an average of 3.34. Against SEC competition we have rushed for 314 yards on 111 carries for an average of 2.82.

So Vandy is averaging more overall but if you take out their two cupcakes and just use SEC competition you will see they average a whopping .15 yards more per carry than we do. So you saying they have a good running game?

Their offensive stats though, for the most part, didn't include him when cunt34 was spouting off at how good Vandy's offense is. He may be the next John Elway for all I know, but I'm willing to bet he's not. That is all.

Vandy and MSU have terrible offenses. I don't care which one is slightly better than the other because it doesn't matter, both suck. Both are ranked below 100, both are responsible for at least one loss this year, and both teams must rely on turnovers, special teams play, and defense to win. I can say Vandy's offense sucks without even bringing up our offense, because the two subjects can be mutually exclusive.

Oh, and some of us have long said Dixon was overrated.

He lead one drive against us and all of the sudden he is a world beater. I wonder if !+%%+#@ has ever considered the fact that the difference in his skill set and Dickson's could have caught the defense off guard, you know kind of like Kodi Burns last year at Auburn. Like that game, once the defense adjusted the QB under consideration did very little against us. I've noticed that !+%%+#@ doesn't let facts get in the way of a good argument.

Now that Vandy is about to play UGA, Florida, UK, and UT you can pretty much bet they will struggle offensively, no matter who is at QB for them. That "higher than us" rushing ranking is about to fall off and the losses are going to start piling up. The funny part about this is if we were winning the exact same way Vandy is, some on this board (cough !+%%+#@ cough) would be complaining that we were lucky and it wouldn't last.</p>
