This is from OM junior day committ rb Eugene Brazley of No,LA. This is what he had to say, stolen from RG. Am I reading this wrong??

They're kind of short. So I'll come in and try to make a difference.
They made me comfortable with the football situation and I like the
school. You never know. I could get hurt today or tomorrow. You have to
have a backup plan."

That is his quote. Did he say he committed early just so he could have a back up plan??

to get a good offer and he doesn't want to take the chance of getting hurt this coming season and getting no offers. Could be wrong if course.

I think he's trying to say he liked the academic side of the school and taht was important b/c you could get hurt playing football.
