Worst scouting report ever

I read through it, and the "Mississippi State Scouting Report" does not mention a single one of our players, much less our team. The scouting report could literally be written for any team in the country. Its all about what Tennessee needs to do to win A game, not THIS game.

UTk's homers might be worse than Auburn's homers. They can at least recognize when they are not very good.

UT is the worst homer fan base I've ever seen. They are literally stuck in 1998.

That is embarrassing.

Clearly Colquitt knows nothing of our team. He thinks Tennessee has talent all over the field and could possibly put the nail in our coffin by halftime. That's just some homerish analysis that is feeding a delusional fan base totally unaware of how irrelevant they have become in the SEC. We will get no credit for winning this game from their fans if we can come out with a victory, but it sure will feel good beating those ******** after they've trashed us all week.

With all of the Orange backdrop, I couldn't read the words

If Chaney puts the game in the hands of the offensive line, Neal and Marlon Lane, this game could be over by halftime.

"Game could be over at the half". History does not say so under Mullen.

Home losses under Mullen:

2011:
-South Carolina won in the 4th quarter after being down; they literally drove to win the game and got us on a coverage mismatch in the endzone.
-LSU game was 9-6 in the 4th quarter
-Bama game was 10-0 in the 4th quarter...not as close as you'd think but not 30-0 or something at halftime.

2010:
-Auburn beat us by 3 and stopped us on our final drive of the game to win
-Arkansas beat us in OT

2009:
-LSU stopped us at the goal line to prevent a major upset
-Houston was a tie game in the 4th quarter
-Florida was a 16-13 game in the 4th quarter
-Ga Tech and Bama were really not close games...but Ga Tech was not out of the question; certainly the game was within reach for us in the 4th quarter. Bama on the other hand that year was the undefeated national title team, and is probably the only team that could declare that the game was over at halftime. Let it be noted that 2012 Tennessee is not going to go undefeated and win the national title.

Let me also say that every single one of these teams was ranked except for Houston, and that was a damn good Houston team, plus we were in our first year of rebuilding from Crxxms.

We may not win on Saturday, but we will be in a position to win it late in the game. We've fared very well at home and especially against unranked opponents under Mullen.

If they lose, they'll want to fire Dooley; if they win, they'll think he turned the corner.

Holy crap that scouting report was awful. I sure hope no one pays him for that. he obviously knows nothing about MSU and didn't bother to do even a little bit of research before spewing that drivel. What crap.

Im stuck in the middle of it, if you guys only knew they are the most schizophrenic fan base as far as expectations to thinking they are world beaters sitting in the middle of the SEC. A local radio guy today in Chattanooga even said that they will smack us in the mouth and beat us by 14-17 points. Where are they getting these delusions from i don't know

Jerry Colquitt was a quarterback (ahead of Peyton Manning on depth chart)

1. Colquitt
2. Helton
3. Manning
4. Stewart

Colquitt got hurt, leaving the job to Helton. Manning later took over that year.

Remember the Auburn game and Ben what's-his-name?...

I didn't read Colquitt's assessment but it appears it was similar to what that former aubie player fed the home masses with an opinion that the tiagles would win easily over lil' ol' msu due to the sheer superiority of talent on the field. Well we saw how that turned out didn't we.

I'm not 'guaranteeing' state will win (like that would actually mean anything). I expect a close ball game but I do believe our chances are pretty good. All I have to say to Mr. Colquitt is yall are about to find out that this team is a little different than the sly croom squad you faced a few years ago.
