Check you email. Ticket assignments are going out if you requested different seats.
it didn't seem like sales had dropped much, but it does make me wonder if the increased contribution requirements caused some people to drop down to worse sections. That would help explain why some of the people in better sections are having success while others aren't seeing a lot of movement.
Also, while I commend the athletic department for their job with this, it's hard to not feel like we're still in the stone ages with our seating process. I have this mental image of a room full of people reading through written seat request forms one by one while someone stands by a huge seating chart and pushes pins into a board. Why can this not be done through the website?
1)Lock out the seats that have already been promised or where someone has renewed and doesn't want to move
2)Allow people that want to move to sign in at a certain time and pick their seats online
3)If someone doesn't show up, automatically assign them their former seats or the closest available ones if their former seats have been taken
4)Once renewals are complete, allow people with new ticket requests to sign on and buy available seats according to their BC ranking
Any obvious reason as to why this couldn't easily happen?
