Field is getting top dressed, but what are they doing to the top level of addition? Did prep to that area late last night and now something else.

I passed by the stadium on Sunday and there was a small crew working. Couldn't tell exactly what they were doing, looked like electrical type work to me, running conduit and pulling wire.
