First, thank you for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. I very much appreciate it. At this point I'll take anything short of a deal with the devil. Chemo went surprisingly well. If sitting in a comfy recliner for 7 hrs. or so is the worst thing that I have to do then this is going to be easy. Nausea and pain were kept to a minimum (2 on a 10 scale) via modern chemistry, I have a Med. Mary Jane card so suffering isn't in the game plan. I got up and ate a normal breakfast (eggs, grits, coffee) so things are going good so far. I'll let you good folks thoughts and prayers take the credit. I have a little pump hooked up to me and go in tomorrow to have it removed then a 2 week wait for this miracle juice to work and then another session.

The worst feelings come about 4-5 days later after treatment. My experience.

Free advice. Resist the temptation to translate your "feeling good" into "I think I'll get out and be active." My relatives who have gone thru chemo say this religiously.

As a chemo and radiation and multiple surgery survivor with my body all jacked up now I wish someone would’ve told me to research Joe Tipton’s Cancer protocol. Safe, lots of great anecdotal evidence. And pray. I’ll pray for you. Hang in there, it don’t get easier. At the first sign of your body telling you something is wrong tell your doctor. I wanted to finish my rounds, until I struggled walking into the clinic and my doctor ended my treatments, and scolded me for not telling her I was having trouble walking. Good luck!! God Bless!!

Praying that chemo continues to go well for you. My mom and dad both went through multiple rounds of chemo and I can tell you that for them, the side effects seemed to build. Each dose made them feel gradually more sick than the last. They did not have the benefit of medical marijuana though. Hopefully that is your ace in hole.

Keep eating. My old man seemed to handle chemo during his cancer battle when he kept his appetite to nourish his body. Chuck’s burgers and Tomato place helped after indulging in “natures” meds. Prayers and nothing but best wishes.

This is good advice if you can do it. In my case, I had neck cancer and couldn't eat well. Went from 230 down to 160 in less than two months.

I saw this last night and found it interesting. Not trying to send you down any rabbit holes in the early stages of your treatment. Just thought of you as I was watching it ...

Been dealing with prostate cancer 13 years this month. Had surgery in 2012 and it lasted 6 years, 35 sessions of radiation in 2018 and finished 14 sessions of directed radiation last month. I've had some side effects along the way but all tolerable. I consider myself very blessed as I have lost some dear friends to cancer in the last 13 years . My prognosis is good (not cured) and I hope to be around long enough to see us be competitive in football again. LOL I know I know but I can hope can't I ? I wish you the very best and remember what Jimmy V always said "Never give up " .

PS: My prayers are a given
