Texas Motor Speedway to add a retractable roof.

Texas Motor Speedway put out an April fool's day press release stating that they will build a retractable dome over the race track. The retractable dome would take 2 years to complete and cost $900 Million. The new enclosed race track would have air conditioning, heating and an elaborate exhaust system to remove the fumes generated by the cars. The roof would be 5 times larger than the new Cowboys stadium roof that is currently under construction.

Positive that's a joke. That would be the end of the organization as a whole. There isn't many good ole boys that are going to go to the track to watch Toyota, Honda, Nissan, and Hyundai battle it out. The sport has been in a decline here lately and that would be the death blow.

I wouldn't put it past that idiot in the white house to propose it though. Chrysler and GM should go ahead and file Chapter 11 and get it over with. I don't care what they put in front of Obama and what he ok's... American automakers will never be fiercely competetive with Japanese automakers with the UAW holding the automakers back. File Chapter 11, take their licks, get the debt off the balance sheet, give Detroit and UAW the finger, and start moving production down south.
