I had to laugh at that. Of course you're right, and Jimmy Carter agrees too.

Also I have to add that if Chicago doesn't get it, it also must mean that the rest of the world hates Queen Oprah.

They have been told they will have to move their boats to "somewhere" so the olympic boating events can be held. So far the "minor" details of where several thousand boats will go hasn't been decided. They are used to moving their boats out in the winter into dry storage, but of course they are completely unusable for that time. If the olympics come they won't be able to use their boats in the summertime, and will have to pay (their own nickles) to keep them in storage.

Air Force 1 and risked looking bad by Chicago not getting them. This way, it looks like he did something to sway them.

I thought this thread started with a post about how great it would be if Chicago, a city in the US and not far from most of us, was awarded the Olympics. Why has it now taken a turn to "Glen Beck's Greatest Hits"????

Jeebus, some people on here need to let go of the political crap for about 30 seconds a day. LET. IT. GO!

I certainly hope Chicago gets the Olympics. Would be great for a great city and for the US in general.

I suspect the Denmark deal was all staged. I hate being cynical; but I'm rarely wrong when I am.
