after 1 year due to lack of evidence. You have to assume he's innocent when there's no evidence against him. But the accusations sure ruined his life. And most people will never even realize that there was no evidence agaisnt him because that gets buried in the small print of an almost dead newspaper industry while the accusations get played out all over the front page and TV and Internet.

Is this not the same guy whose accuser had a recording of him and fines wife where she was basically acknowledging that he was a pedophile?

i could be wrong

Actually, I think you're right that there was some kind of recording of the wife and that she was a really weird woman. I just saw the article about no evidence buried on the 2nd page and it struck me as not being very fair after the coverage the accusations got. Also, keep in mind that what you read and hear in the media is usually very slanted towards one side of a story. I suspect there's a lot more to the story than we got from the media or the charges wouldn't have been dropped.

This is a case of espn running an unsubstantiated story to get hits post Sandusk

Espn ruined his life and they are now suing them. The ball boys later came out and stated they were lying, but that didn't matter to espn.

Did anything inappropriate go on? Maybe, but all the evidence points to this being made up and until someone substantiates these claims there needs to be someone in the media that has the guts to say they aren't going to run the story yet.

Heres a wentzel article. http://communityvoices.sites.post-g...many-lesson-to-be-learned-in-bernie-fine-case
