Nicco has experience. He had a higher INT rate at WVU than I'd like, but so did Aidan before he came here. He'll have good targets at least. Less certain about his scrambling. Nervous, but not giving up hope if Aidan is out. This is obviously terrible news but Chip is still Chip and we recruited a backup QB who I don't think wandered into Evanston randomly like a lost puppy. I certainly don't love the prospect of marching into NRF on Saturday without Aidan but I have a little more confidence our offense than I have in at least a decade and it's not just because of him alone.
Has some P4 wins against Pitt, Texas Tech and Arizona... seems more capable then other backups we had in the past.Nicco has experience. We cannot have nice things! If Chiles isn't behind center this Saturday, might as well chalk it up as a L. Such a promising start to the season, it will be a shame if there is a collapse due to injuries.
AgreeWe cannot have nice things!
More to the point, trust in Jerry N.Has some P4 wins against Pitt, Texas Tech and Arizona... seems more capable then other backups we had in the past.
Trust in Chipco.
We've been thin from the outset. Getting Carsello was a huge relief, then EO went down. Lots of starts lost on a thin DL.If Chiles isn't behind center this Saturday, might as well chalk it up as a L. Such a promising start to the season, it will be a shame if there is a collapse due to injuries.
Not as usual...but well enough to beat Iowa at home.Chiles is literally the frontrunner to be First Team All Big Ten this year. To think we can simply function as usual with QB2 is delusional.
Iowa thinks they are playing for a spot in the CFP. It was going to be a close one for us even with Chiles. Again, without our top player? Just no.Not as usual...but well enough to beat Iowa at home.
We're both playing for a spot in the CFP.Iowa thinks they are playing for a spot in the CFP. It was going to be a close one for us even with Chiles. Again, without our top player? Just no.
