He'll go back to College soon enough. He's young and doesn't have a wife or kids. Notre Dame, ASU, UCLA, A&M all could have openings at the end of next year and would take him in a heart beat. I sure as hell would.

I wonder if there are any college teams that would make a move to get him now. UCLA maybe? Timing sucks for teams like Oregon, Texas and LSU that probably would have went after him this year.

Don't want him. No way, no how.

How many national championships did he win at Oregon? ZERO!!

Does he run Osborne's option? NOPE!!

Do his teams have a top 10 defense every year? NOPE!!

He sucks. I want Saban and no one else. We have the money.

Saban could sell ground beef to a vegetarian.
Saban could sell a Taco John's taco to a man born and raised in Mexico.
Saban could sell an AR to a liberal.

That's who I want and if he doesn't win 12 games a year every year, I want to get rid of college football.

I know people born and raised in Mexico who eat at Taco Johns and Taco Bell. :D

Those poor people have to eat "fake" Mexican? Lol :)

I love TJs myself, but not a huge fan of TB.

Funny how most Americans make fun of the foods I like and call them "knock offs", fake, not real Italian/Mexican food (TJs and Olive Garden for instance)

I love Taco Johns. And no, the kind of TexMex food most Americans eat is not "authentically" Mexican. So what? TexMex is a legitimate food style in its own right, like Cajun food, born at our border and the result of the fusion of two cultures. That is why even Mexicans who live in the US also eat TexMex and like it. They like it because it tastes good. Lol

As for Saban... I hear he can even hypnotize recruits, getting them to come to Bama without even realizing they left home

Chip was a moron for taking the SF job in the first place. No coach could have won there since Hargod walked out the door. Chip may not be on Saban or Meyer's level, but he's at the top of the next teir. Easily a top 6-7 coach in all of CFB. At least in my opinion, and better than anyone we've had since TO walked out the door. I think he would excel in the college game again but needs to be in a fertile recruiting area I'd think, IF what you hear about his disdain for recruiting is true.

Still time for somebody to pick him up this year. I would be nervous if I was Rich Rod and a few other guys.

I bet the Duck's board is in full melt down mode right now.
Nonsense. Everybody knows he owes all of his success at Oregon to Scott Frost. Things didn't really tank out there until Frostie left.....Winking Talk about bad timing.

He'll get a good gig in college.......would be an upgrade if we have the nads to fire Riley to get him in Lincoln.

Didn't Kelly have some recruiting violations that he would have to deal with if he stayed in college?
And the NCAA has nads enough to do anything? Not. I wouldn't want him but I bet Oregon wishes they could have their hire back sanctions or not. IF I were Chip though I would head somewhere to drink and play golf. Why work anymore?

Chip would not remotely be a good fit in Lincoln. IF you liked BC you would love Chip. I guarantee you that there's a bunch of calls being made between boosters and ADs right now across college football.

I am sure he will feel like a "moron" when he cashes his buyout check with the 3 years remaining on his contract.

I'm not sure if Kelly gets another pro HC job. But he has stated a few times that he doesn't like recruiting and doesn't want to go back to college. It'll be interesting to see what he decides to do.

Speaking strictly on the football success side only, of course I'm way jealous of his paycheck and respect all the money he's made. He could have had much better jobs if he had chilled for a bit though and still made the same bank..

I'm not sure any GM was stupid enough to hire Chip other than San Fran's. After the debacle in Phillie I was shocked to see them hire him. College though? Lots of programs HAVE to be interested.

He could have had a great NFL job after Philly if he had waited a few months. Somebody was going to pay him again, for sure.

Chip Kelly with Mark Helfrich as the OC and recently fired Bob Diaco as the DC looks like a sure winner.
