It hasn’t been liberal long enough. It’s well on its way, I have plenty of other US cities as proof if you want it.

How long is long enough? Because I recall even back in the 80s Austin was well known as the one liberal bastion in conservative Texas. It’s had that reputation for as long as I can remember.
