I don't get what angle he is trying to pursue here. This was a time when saying nothing is better than saying something.

Chris Kiffin.... Angle.... Do people honestly think this guy is intelligent enough to really attack an angle? So many people these days just speak to quickly on social media.

Makes me wish Brew was still on staff to see his reply.

It would be along the lines of you'll be leaving OM soon so why follow any of them. The next day it is reported Brewster has accepted a lateral move to another school.

You've got to figure that if we were his leader before kiffins tweet, then we're even more ahead of ole miss now.

Looks like non-stop interacting with 16-17 year olds has turned Kiffen into a high school girl again. This sounds like a very bad body switch movie starring Ashton Kutcher and Selena Gomez.

Kiffin is trying to use a pressure tactic to keep MSU out of the news and off twitter, in order to help prevent us from getting any recruiting momentum. I think it's taking things a little to far, and risky because it show OMs true colors. For kids that want to come to MSU, it won't matter, but most kids, this time of year, don't know where they want to go and also don't want an SEC coach being "upset" with them. So, with kids under those circumstances, Mullen and staff are going to need to find a creative way to strike back. All these kids follow each other on twitter, and it helps is when they talk about MSU on twitter, in the same it helps OM when recruiting RNK talk on twitter

Have one of our coaches tweet that Kiffin is too busy following our coaching staff to be following recruits.

If I had to guess I would say he is talking about he LB from Greenville. He

visited Ole Miss and State this weekend and is supposedly at State Lean right now.

Lying and quoting scripture? I see a pattern developing up there. Hell, he was

National Recruiter of the Year last year. He has a reputation to uphold*.

Hilarious.

I got called out by vic red on blasting Freezus et al for being fakes. He asked me how did I know this; Well, here you go vicred. Them using religion to recruit is ridiculous. I can't believe these parents can't see past it.

Discussion re: Olemiss Recruiting

You guys make a good point about Kiffin...but yall are brave to bring this up. I got into a debate about Olemiss recruiting practices last Friday with Optimus Prime - then he edited my post to be favorable to his position. I'm glad I had a chance to read all of this before OP had a chance to edit it to call Kiffin a genius.

I know what you all are thinking...how is it that a bulldog fan such as myself had a post edited by an Olemiss-supporting moderator when discussing Olemiss recruiting on this Mississippi State message board?

Hey OP - if you read this, go stick your unicorn loving, ancient alien-shaped head in a pile of turds. Big or small pile? Your choice. Just do it.

I'm sure we'll responsd by sending a letter with a stick figure drawn in crayon (with an arrow pointing to the stick figure identifying him as one of our coaches) that says something along the lines of "we think you're a playa, no matter who you tweet about!"

You're still really upset about that aren't you? I think you deserve a personalized moniker. Something along the lines of "Nana boo boo. Stick your head in doo door" to remind people that your internet message board posts are very serious business with and should not be messed with.

I hear there is this new board that likes people who can't take a joke from a Rebel.

/of course I actually do agree that he shouldn't be editing posts unless someone breaks a rule but sometimes it is pretty damn funny

Funny coming from the same staff who bashes Mullen for not wanting a recruit to take trips to visit other schools. Now they don't even want a recruit talking about another school.

I bet this tweet goes poof like Freeze's tweet to contact compliance.

All religion is a means to an end, I want us to win football games. The '13 class makes me think we're doing something right to achieve that end, and the '14 class appears to be going in that direction as well.

Whatever it is works. The positive that I take from Freeze's early successes is that it will tell us exactly what we have in Mullen. Will he step up to the challenge and adapt? I am in the camp that thinks he will.
Whipping y'all's *** when you sucked was easy. I want to whip that *** when y'all are good.

Optimus Prime and I were discussing our differing opinions about Olemiss' recruiting letter blitzkreig. After making our point, he told me I was wrong and to live with it; I responded by telling him to find a bucket of turds and put his face in there. Each were about as likely to happen in the real world.

He then edited my post to read: "I was wrong. I apologize." To further break this down for you, I made a negative comment about Olemiss recruiting that an Olemiss fan rebuked. We briefly debated. All was good up to that point. THEN THE OLEMISS FAN EDITED A POST I MADE TO AN OUTCOME HE FELT WAS FAVORABLE.

And to get to the even bigger picture here: Do all of the moderators really want me to go to another board, as DerHntr has suggest? Will that help bring in the advertising dollars to this site? That argument will lose every time. I know I'm only one reader/poster - but I'm sure it doesn't sit well with others what happened.

Bottom line, in my humble opinion there should not be a Rebel allowed to moderate posts made by State fans on this board - especially when debating State vs. Olemiss issues.

Dude, it was funny. You were being a whiny turd, so he edited your post rather than argue with you. Whatever grand delusion you have of being a soldier against a rebel-led censorship conspiracy is retarded. Get over it.

I don't want a moniker. I don't want any recognition at all...but I do think what happened needs to be brought to light and addressed by the management of this board.

And I don't buy the "only serious business should be posted" crap...my post offered just as much as some dude trying to curl one out at his ex-wife's home. Those posts have just as much a place on this board as sports related posts, because that's what makes them enjoyable. And I was obviously trying to be funny by saying that...my feelings weren't the ones that got hurt there - I didn't edit his posts to agree with me (I couldn't if I wanted to).

But am I supposed to expect to post reasonably when an olemiss fan tells me to admit I'm wrong because I have a differing opinion, and then he edits my response? I guess I now know to not get in an argument with OP about State and Olemiss...he has the authority to make sure I'm wrong 100% of the time.

"Dude, it was funny." What exactly was funny? Him telling me to admit I was wrong or him editing my post? And my turd bucket comment was meant as a joke...I am not going to apologize because that Rebel got his feelings hurt by it. It's the oldest comeback in the book (even older than "rubber and glue"). It was a classic.

And I'm not trying to uncover a conspiracy. There is no conspiracy. It's a fact that a moderator of this board is a big Rebel fan that can edit posts. And I don't know what dictionary you're using, but changing one person's words to read differently - especially to read more favorable to your own position, is censorship. Is it not? I mean...this doesn't have to be this big of a deal. I can let it go...but are other posters really comfortable with OP being able to do that?

Well this is about the 75th time you’ve attempted to “bring it to light” and nobody besides you really seems to give much of a ****, in case you haven’t noticed.

How do they spell h y p o c r it e ? Well, it starts with Bucky. I have called him out on Twitter numerous times for his 'inspirational' tweets that he COPIES from someone without attribution. Two weeks ago it was that 'extra' degree stuff that has web sites, books and tee shirts out on the web.
</SPAN>
Why not just post what one believes instead of copying from someone else? Especially, when he wants to tell everyone how religious he is.

His WIN THE DAY meme is copied verbatim from Oregon ... http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindducksbeat/2010/11/as_oregon_ducks_win_the_day_ov.html</SPAN>
