He had a list of his top 10 SEC players most likely to leave early for the NFL and Pernell McPhee was number 7 on that list. Does anyone one here think Pernell will leave early? I personally think he is a very good DL, but I think one more year would make him really good. I think he has a lot of potential, and could be the game changing DL we've needed for a while. I don't think he will leave early, but it's sometimes good to hear that we have at least some talent on the team that might be worthy of going to the NFL early.

I don't know his situation, but if he's one of those that doesn't like class all that much, I could see it.

You don't typically see a Juco come in and go pro after one year simply because you typically see a good bit of improvement for a Juco in his 2nd year. The two times I remember it happening to us were Rory Johnson and Tim Bowens. Both of those were cases where I don't think either one knew what the inside of a classroom looked like, so they went to avoid being academically ineligible.

So, unless that's the case, he probably should stay.
