As someone who grew up in Mississippi but left 10 years ago I find this thread still very interesting. For those posting in the thread is there a politician in an election of consequence you are happy you voted for? I honestly cannot remember the last time I voted for someone that was not the "lesser of two evils", can you?

I went to school with CM. I'm a conservative but would never vote for him. Always struck me as a super cheesy guy who thought 1) that he was way cooler than he is, and 2a) that he was universally loved, and 2b) if you didn't love him, then there was something wrong with you.
