He worked out a deal with courts, he's doing his time, following the rules set for him. If it was us and we were hurting like them right now, and he is doing what he is supposed to do, I say let him play. After all it was a text message. It could have been in jest, who knows, it's not like he broke into another students apartmenttook aa lap top, got caught with pot a year later and while in high school got arrested. It was a text message.

I mean, he said something stupid to a girl who hurt him. Who hasn't done that? I've never told a girl I was going to come kill her but I can see where that impulse comes from. If you never wanted to kill a woman, at least somewhere in the dark part of your brain, well you haven't dated much.

He didn't actually do anything, he didn't get a knife and sit outside her house, or buy a gun. He sent a really stupid text message. He's learning his lesson, let the guy play again. I'm just glad he didn't get to play against us.

The most pissed off I've ever been at a girl, I never once thought about harming her physically, I just tried to17 her mom.

I would never hurt anyone but there was a time where I wanted to punch a girl right in the face. I threw my keys across the parking lot instead. That's when I knew for sure I would never hit a woman. My point was that when people are hurt they do and say some stupid ****. If he had done anything to go past just words then I would say keep him off the team. But a stupid text message shouldn't end his football career. Damn, are we that sensitive?

If sending that text is the most threatening thing he's done, he doesn't need to be convicted of a felony. And players play with misdemeanor arrests all the time. Now if he has a history of really threatening/stalking her maybe that's a different issue. But from what we've seen publicly about the case, I think his punishment is reasonable.

Nothing wrong with killing a woman at all. Sometimes you simply have to cut their heads off. I read it to be so in my mujaheddin book.

But that is a different situation. She hit first. I would never strike a women first. But if she ever swings at me, all bets are off.

Yeah, the wording was poor and I certainly wasn't advocating hurting women, but anyone who has been brokenhearted thinks and does some stupid crap and I'm not willing to crucify some other guy over it. But hey, I jump on people for saying dubmass **** all the time, guess it's just my turn.

1) You're not making it any better.
2) Dubmass
3) Do they make Hallmark cards for that moment in someone's life?
4) Usually something like get really drunk
5) Whether serious or not, he personally sent a death threat to somebody. I'd cut him loose.
6) Drunk people send stupid text messages. He sent a death threat.
7) When it comes to a personal death threat... yeah. You've got to be seriously messed up in the head to do that.
