I sure hope not. I believe this is Kentucky and we can get more than one. Why is it always one or the other? I get it’s how it might end up working out but why can’t we get a couple top ten guys?
It is probably the disciplinary issue of Stokes

Given the timeline, it is possible we exit the recruitment of Stokes

We will know more about Stokes soon

Pope likely has info we don't about Stokes. If we do move on, there is probably good reason. Still not convinced people aren't just assuming due to Collins also being a forward.

If we had Stokes for the taking and backed off for behavior issues or whatever it may be I’ll be pissed when he dominates college ball next year and he’s not on our team because he has a potty mouth and attitude. Ik im different than most fans but I just don’t care much about that reputation stuff. It’s basketball. We already have a reputation for cheating even if we don’t cheat.

Just a dumb post in multiple ways I won't even get into.
Lots of guys that watch and scout recruits for a living are saying what I said. We NEED immediate impact guys while Pope is still rebuilding our program. I just happen to have the opinion that Collins isn’t one of those guys as of rn. Look, I hope he comes in and averages 25ppg but I’m not gonna hold my breath.

You can rest assure if the staff decided to back off there is definitely a reason.

I feel the same way brother! A certain amount of nasty is needed with every team imo. So what if the kid isn’t a choir boy??!! The kid DOMINATES and id rather it be at UK than to watch it be at Kansas or Oregon!

Sick of Nate Oats and Bama. We need to retake our spot at the top again. Auburn and Bama have had it for the last few seasons. He kicked our *** three times last year.

It happens. It’s not something I like but it always goes back to UK. Every decade there’s a spin wheel. UK and who else? Right now that was Bama and Auburn. Oats is good, he’s really good. But he’s waiting on Michigan State to open and it should next year or the next. Pearl is gone Auburn is gone with him. The constants are Kentucky and whoever is the other team of that decade. It never remains, only Kentucky does.

get one of collins stokes and holt and im okay

unfortunately no matter the circumstances, if we miss on stokes we will have a ton of fanbases on us
The good thing about this is that nobody seemed to want to play with Stokes. If that’s true and we could nab Collins and Holt I’d call that a wash at worst and maybe better overall.

Sounds like Holt is Bama's to lose.

Bama is going all out for Holt and they’ll pay whatever Oats wants to keep him. If the NIL weren’t a thing he’d likely be at UK. But Oats has lost recruits to UK and players to UK so this is one that he has to maintain. There was never a chance with Holt. Pope doesn’t waste time recruiting players like Calipari did, and he doesn’t let players use the program as a hat on the table. He seems to back away and not play in all that nonsense. Calipari should have been told years ago this isn’t your personal program to humiliate stop allowing it. But Pope seems to care more like most coaches so I think we’ll see the Holt situation dry up here soon.

This is Kentucky if he’s not sure between Alabama and UK then go to Alabama. I still see it that way. That’s not a hard choice. Bama has a pitiful basketball base and nobody cares. If you can’t understand how different that is and how much it matters then I don’t want you.
