As a kid it was mainly WWF for me. We lived out in the country and didn't have cable. Just over the air - so Saturday morning meant watching "Superstars."

Remember going to my Aunt's house and catching NWA/WCW on TBS the first time. Was amazed there was another "league" of wrestlers I never heard of.

Heyman saying Lesnar doesn't get much respect that he deserves??. Well I think it's because he doesn't wrestle on Raw. Why would fans buy the network? More then half the fanbase doesn't have it and people don't see him wrestle. All they do is try and get you to buy something you don't want to buy. I have lots of respect for Heyman but he's off base calling out fans. Saying they look to much in the past. In the past main stars had matches people can see, you are not going to get people to buy the network just to see him 'fight'.

The company lost it's mind by thinking other wise. Soo Paul maybe check the numbers your guy is drawing next time before acting like a baby. Oh that's right since Punk was a Heyman guy you look away at losing drawing star power. since.. you know he couldn't draw a fly.

Tax refund was a little sweeter than expected. So I treated myself to the network last night. So far, I'm loving the possibilities. Just watched the Raw from Rupp that I attended after Survivor Series 98. Damn, the crowds were so hot back then.

Was an old Memphis guy. Lawler and Dundee were great, but I think the King did his best when he got to play off the 'cocky' heels like Austin Idol and Hot Stuff Eddie Gilbert. As an aside, I think Hot Stuff would have been a legend if he was in WWE during the Attitude Era.

Jos LeDuc frankly scared me when I was in my teens. I was long past my mark days as a child, but that dude was legit crazy...or else he was the best seller that ever entered the squared circle!

Eddie Gilbert would have been decent in WWF because he got a good reaction. My memory of Eddie Gilbert actually involves my Dad. He and a few up his work buddies used to go to the TV tapings at Louisville Garden before they went in for night shift. Eddie was, like I said, good at getting a reaction. My dad had a friend named Mike who was an Ex Nam vet who was a little off center.

Long story short. Eddie talked typical heel stuff at the railing. Mike bought in, and jumped the gate, and beat the hell out of Eddie Gilbert and a all hell broke loose. Dad and friends were no longer allowed to attend TV tapings from that point.

Me, you, Kmac, BKH and I think the others were there that night. That was my first ever WWF event. So awesome. I had the Brahma bull shirt

Funny the crowd was set to pop for the what's jumping Riegns and Shane made them a tag team........and the air was out of the balloon! They really can not catch a break on booking that dude.

They should literally take the gloves off and say what ever feels right roll with it. Have a general plan but in a time like that just have a backup plan in place just in case and let the wyatts rip him apart!

Reigns has that mega star feel to him. Vince picked the right guy and people are going to have to deal with it. Just don't turn him heel.

Not here to hear your life wrestling story yet again. 90% of my posts are ****? WHAT? WHAT? I'm most likely the greatest ever.

I have always stand by the face of the company being face. I stood for it years ago with Cena and people don't agree but that is how I view it. Guess what he's the new face of it.

Most agree with that. (with you) and most want him heel but I can't take him beating the crap out of the good guys clean. Vince and his writers won't know what to do with him heel after a few months, and he'll get even more ish then he is now. I think back when Stone Cold was the hottest thing going but he was a heel, he wanted to stay 'the bad guy' but like he said it didn't make much sense for him to play that character.

What if Hogan was a heel from 88-94? Would he still be the biggest name ever?

Well I have to say I thought that was a pretty good episode of Raw last night. Good wrestling and not too much storyline crap that makes me want to Curb Stomp somebody.

Enzo and Cass are doing well so far...and give credit to the Dudleyz for not treating them like developmental guys.,

I wasn't following the product in the mid 2000's, those that were at the beginning of him being jammed down the fans throats with overpushing was Cena as disliked as Reigns is at his start now? was he as bad on the mic & in the ring?

How fast can WWE drive something into the ground? They did it pretty fast with $9.99 for the network, but I feel like they are at warp speed with "I'm not a good guy, I'm not a bad guy, I'm the guy!" line.

If WWE wants to test the waters on a guy being a face all they have to do is put them against Reigns. Feel like the crowd has wanted to cheer Bray for a while anyway.

Last night was a fun show. Usually after WM things turn bad fast, but they picked it up after last week.

So, Arnie climbed the water tower again?

Don't call Gilbert to get him down, just let him stay.

Two rules in booking a face.....

1- let them get beat down, and have that oh snap I've had enough and its yo *** time!

2- make them 100% stand up character guys

Neither worked for Reigns so heel it is!

It really is that simple, you can debate all you want but that doesn't change and has stood the test of time since Instarted watching wrestling in 1985.

^^^ For me that is the biggest knock on Cena....the heels never get over on him so there is nothing for him to get revenge for...

Look at Dusty, and even Hogan back in the day. That got beat up all the time..so when they finally got their revenge it actually meant something.

I'm not a good guy, I'm not a bad guy, But Big Cat Fan is definitely NOT The Guy. A legend in his own mind. Guess Raw sucked last night, everyone thought it was pretty good, so naturally BCF thought it sucked. Trying way too hard to draw heat. You are getting it, just not how you planned it.

Step back, give it time, lots of new characters getting into the fold, just let the cake bake.

I don't want to beat a dead horse here but with everything WWE has right now they have to book Report the correctly. With Cena back and Rollins coming back its just a matter of time before someone else takes the strap and runs with it.

The ending at WM was weird really and the match itself had a lot of rest time for it to be the main event.

Of course going heel is a no brainer and just easy and pretty much done at this point, but for Reigns sake it has to be done right or his career is doomed. I didn't watch the end last night to see what happened with Bray but it couldn't have been good since Reigns is fighting AJ at the PPV.

I'm glad for AJ but he isn't going over so what I hope happens to set Reigns sails is that as he wins for what ever reason someone, Sami Zane(?), respectfully has to come assist AJ and that draws Ambrose out too and Reigns accidentally or intentionally takes out Ambrose and that feud carries over for weeks and turns Reigns.

It's simple it fast him in the main heel role which is in dire need for the immediate future and it allows a lot more flexibility/creativity with opponents.

Looks like Sami Zayn is feuding with Owens &
Ambrose just started a feud with Jericho.

I do think, however, the AJ match does set the the table for a Reigns heel turn. Maybe if Bray Wyatt goes full face he might be part of Reigns going heel also.

Wasn't aware of those feuds, but that begs the question how many more times can the Wyatts lose feuds and remain over? I mean what they have done so far is impressive but they have to win at some point right?

Not against the new champ they won't!

No I thought Raw was good. For some reason I liked the Y2J-Ambrose segment. Styles vs Zayn got me going. Plus it's always good having Shane on Raw.

I agree with people on here all time. (Not about Nash and by no means do I agree Flair is a top 5 ever) I need my BKH CB Point back and I'll be alright.

Bake a cake? Well you act as if it's not a done deal on Reigns the new face. Well he is for a long time. This is what Vince wants. Doesn't matter how we view it, he is the man. The back to back WM main events showed this. He's already a 3 time Champ and they have already hinted he's going to keep the belt for awhile.

New blood rising? Show me? I only see Orton,Reigns, Styles,Ambrose,KO,Rollins as the best talent. NXT is restroom break time until they show me other wise.

So you do not see all the new guys coming in ? AJ, Zayn, The new tag guys, Cesaro getting a push, Crews etc etc. Let it bake and give them time to build stories for the NEWER guys.

I remember last year we did a 16-man tournament for the GOAT. I got bored today and actually had time to kill in between meetings and made up a 32-man bracket for some of the all-time greats and a mixture of more recent talent. I did a lot of actual rankings with some mixture of "I'd like to see that match" in trying to make future pairings (basically what the NCAA does).

Yes, I know this is stupid so let's get that out of the way. Regions 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3.

Region 1
Ric Flair vs Jerry Lawler
Edge vs Ricky Steamboat
Kurt Angle vs Jericho
Bret Hart vs Buddy Rogers

Region 4
Hulk Hogan vs Jake Roberts
Bruno Sammartino vs Mick Foley
Triple H vs Roddy Piper
The Rock vs Nick Bockwinkel

Region 2
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Randy Orton
Dusty Rhodes vs Harley Race
John Cena vs Eddie Guerrero
Macho Man Randy Savage vs CM Punk

Region 3
Shawn Michaels vs Ultimate Warrior
Brock Lesnar vs Andre the Giant
Undertaker vs Terry Funk
Sting vs Daniel Bryan

Only after the fact did I realize that I made Region 3 look like something the NCAA would do to Kentucky.
