If people would pay attention they may notice that Cena has been getting beat and high level jobbing got a few years now.

Why do they say Vince will pick who runs Raw this Sunday? Shouldn't it in kayfabe be who runs the company? Not sure why it's just Raw.

Cena always wins the feud but I was impressed that they let Kevin Owens go over him clean last year.

Still haven't watched RAW yet. Curious how it was...

Saw a pic of Billy Gunn and it reminded me that Steve Austin was kind of a dick. He refused to put people over. He squashed a Jarrett push, squashed a Billy Gunn push and refused to drop the title to Triple H at SummerSlam in 1999.

I always liked Austin but he was pretty selfish. The Rock never had any issue putting anyone over.

Dont forget he was supposed to lose to Lesnar on Raw and then took his ball and went home for six months.

I thought Raw was a good show last night, unfortunately the ratings went down again. Hour 3 was under 3 million viewers for the second week in a row.

So we all agree Gallows and Anderson turn on AJ at Payback on Sunday (as they did in new Japan a few months ago) but does Balor debut at the ppv or the raw next Monday?

- Austin refused to job to:

Mid-carder Jeff Jarrett
Mid-carder Billy Gunn

I would be surprised if he did put them over

- He then refused to job (alledgedly in basically a squash match to Brock Lesnar). He probably wouldn't have jobbed anyway as he was pilled up and drunk at this point, but I could see how wasting a huge money match on a 3 minute squash KOTR qualifier on free TV wouldn't sit right with the biggest star this side of Hogan

Austin was fading at that point, in my opinion. He had lost a lot of his luster.

Also, I don't know if he was supposed to job to Jarrett or Gunn. I just know he was supposed to feud with them and he said no. He had hard feelings toward Jarrett. Gunn, however was getting a big push in 1999 by winning KOTR and feuding with Rock.

Fair point on Jarrett, although I don't think he's as good as lot of folks. But I can see how he would be deserving of a feud

On the other hand, Billy Gunn was trash. His feud with the Rock sank like a brick. Austin probably saw that and realized how much work it would be just to drag him along and killed it

Gunn losing that push was one of the best things to happen to that company. He was an average worker who would get blown up too fast, and an even worse promo. That was probably one of the 10 worst "let's give the ball to this guy" decisions VKM ever made. (Khali was the absolute worst, IMO)

And, I'd imagine most guys near the top don't want to risk losing that top spot. I remember hearing Orton didn't like putting guys over either as evidenced by his run with Legacy.

So far for 10 worst main event pushes we have...
Billy Gunn
Great Khali

I'll go ahead and add Mabel to the list because well there was no reason he should have ever main evented a ppv

Well you mother touchers got me. I did a simple kayfabe Google. Read the whole damn Wikipedia on it. 45 minutes. Some really cool stuff I did not know. Now kick me out of the thread because I did not know kayfabe. I kind of new, but not really. If you have not read it, do it. It has a lot of times when people broke kayfabe and stories of wrestlers being hurt during matches and talking about hearing wrestlers talk to the injured one. The best one was HHH asking Kurt Angle "are you all right mate ?"

Only a dck would get angry because you didn't exactly know, it's cool to learn new stuff. Best breaking kayfabe moment in the ring I can remember was HHH vs Y2J when Trips destroyed his quad.

I think you missed my sarcasm. Meaning I read the word several times so it got in my head and had to look it up. Then spent 45 minutes reading the whole Wikipedia on it. It was a joke on myself, meaning I got sucked in to look it up because I was dumb to what people was posting. Pay attention.

OOPs sorry didn't see that had already been posted.

So looking forward to WWE Network programming tonight, NXT with Samoa Joe winning the title then a new Table for 3 with Flair, Anderson and Blanchard.

I'm interviewing Seth Green today about "Camp WWE." I got to see the first show and it's hilarious. It's an adult animated comedy show. Vince McMahon is hilarious in it and so is Ric Flair (both voice their own characters). There are moments where Flair is just woooing while he humps a tire, a rock and has relations with a bear and exposes himself while wearing his robe and just randomly keeps plopping pillows down to drop elbows on to them.

A lot of cursing.

Very funny.

Basic premise is Vince runs the camp and the rest are a mixture of camp counselors and campers. In the first episode little camper John Cena is homesick. Triple H (counselor) comes in with Steph and says "Hey Cena, you okay or are you still feeling like a huge *****?"

Well it won't air for a week or two. Bobby Roode is there too, guessing he will be on as well.

So Bobby Roode was back stage last night at NXT but not used. They announced Joe vs. Balor 4 for the next takeover show on June 8.

Looks like the reason Roode and Young jumped to NXT is because they were owed a combined six figures...I wouldn't expect TNA to be around much longer.

So Happy Anniversary everyone!!! 10 years ago today was the Backlash PPV at Rupp Arena. I was there and it was a decent show most remember now for the Vince and Shane vs. HBK and "God" match.

There was a couple of good matches, Shelton Benjamin vs RVD in an IC Ladder Match and the Main Event between Cena, Edge and HHH. Of course HHH bled buckets, the state athletic commission fined Vince and Kentucky hasn't had a Raw, Smackdown or PPV ever since to my knowledge.

The only way TNA makes it another year is if Dixie sells the company and they totally rebrand themselves. The Impact shows have been pretty good lately but they are on their third network in three years. That isn't good.

Shelton Benjamin was a great worker and had some excellent matches including a great match against HBK but his mic skills didn't allow him to be main event level.

Sources are saying Balor going to debut at the PPV tonight so maybe we will get the beginning of the Balor Club.

Ok thanks for the update, I didn't think Kentucky has had anything but house shows since 2006.

Payback Predictions

Roman over AJ when the Balor Club turns on Styles

Ambrose over Jericho

Cesaro over Miz

Zayn over Owens then gets laid out afterwards

Vaudevillians over Enzo and Cass

Charlotte over Nattie, post match double sharpshooters

Corbin over Ziggler

Rybarf over Kalisto

Vince tries to explain this whole moronic this booking for Shane and Steph has been.. Ok probably not.

Hootie McBoobs and HHH get Raw, Shane gets Smackdown

I thought Enzo had broke his neck at first glance but thankfully it looks like he might have just been knocked out. Getting out of that with just a concussion is a win.
