Ticket sales for both Raw and Smckdown are on a general downward trend, though Smackdown is worse. If WWE keeps up the boring booking with insanely high ticket prices, then both WWE and AEW are going to become seemingly PPV only for a lot of fans as far as buying a ticket goes.

Economy isn't going to be doing either any favors as well.

AEW is hiring someone new for live events marketing. Hopefully this person is better capable of doing the job because whoever previously was in the role was abysmal.
It was Jeff Jarrett right?

Yeah, like I'm not expecting to suddenly see 8k or 9k at a random Dynamite in Nov but if Blood & Guts was a PPV instead, maybe. Their online poster art for everything is killer though.

Also may need to backtrack on my comments to the poster who mentioned a ticket downturn next year for WWE without Cena. I mean, it won't be at AEW levels but it could be noticeable for sure. I'm really interested to see how SD in Louisville does. It's the day before Elimination Chamber in Chicago so everyone, including Punk and Cody, should be at Yum. If they only get like 6k or 7k for that, I dunno, seems like a yikes to me.
Their poster game has been quite impressive for a long time. I've got quite a lot of them saved. The attention to detail on some of them is quite remarkable.

But the ticket downturn for WWE is already noticeable now for some TV tapings. Not like five-alarm fire levels of a downturn by any stretch of the imagination at the vast majority of tapings, but particularly alarming is that the #s for the next three Raws are pretty bad - either relative to the last visit or in comparison to the arena capacity - and Raw has largely been holding pretty strong because it's not boring slop like everyone seemingly agrees Smackdown has become.

But the one that is a big red flag is the December 1st Raw. Two weeks out, and per the last WrestleTix update from yesterday, it's at less than 50% distributed than it was then they went to the same venue almost a year to the date. And they only sold 107 tickets in the last 7 days.

So Mercedes won another title on a HOG show? Isn’t that the place that the cohost who made all the ****** posts about her was suspended from? If so, that is sweet karma right there.

Just now getting through Collision. Juice Robinson talking about wanting to win the big cash tag team match so he could put his share in a “tax deferred 401k” just about killed me. Coming from his crazy ***, that was just a great line.

I'm really truly glad Mone is happy and getting a chance to wrestle around the world and have a gimmick that annoys half of the 'net wrestling community. Having said that, she's in a warehouse with a couple big screens from Best Buy and the damn curtain fell down in front of her like it was a failed high school production of The Crucible. That woman once main evented WrestleMania...

And she’s making more money than she ever did and has had a year no wrestler has ever had.
