TK made it sound like Adam Cole is almost assuredly retired from wrestling. Didn’t eliminate the possibility entirely, but sounds very doubtful we’ll ever seen him lace up the boots again.

Alvarez says the finish that happened was the original planned finish, but there was a miscommunication between Shelton and the ref.
The Long:
After Speedball bumped so hard for that super kick, Shelton called for the finish there because he didn't think the original planned finish could possibly look better. Paul Turner didn't hear the audible, so he didn't count to three. Then they went right into what was the originally planned finish.

How on earth has Collision been the only one that hasn’t been obliterated by the Nielsen change?

She just hasn’t improved at the rate numerous other women have in AEW along with the new people that have been brought in who are better. And she doesn’t seem to have the initiative to put the work in on her own time like many others are doing.
So I think she could stand to benefit from the change of scenery to a more hands on environment that will micromanage her through the process like NXT has. Some people just need that type of structure while others thrive outside of it.
- Pretty sure Busted Open, namely Henry and Ray, collectively come up with the worst ideas imaginable.
- Curious who buys WBD and how they treat AEW afterward. If TNA can survive, AEW will too but I'm wondering if WWE stretching their tentacles out to several networks/streamers was for a moment like this, while at the same time helping TNA get a new deal. Really only two options once the sell happens: the new owners fully and proudly back AEW or they don't. That's going to be a big talking point over the coming months.

Yeah those Bully Ray and Mark Henry ideas I hear com out of Busted Open are always brain worms stupid, that type of idiocy you'd hear coming out of WCW 2000 or peak LOLTNA years.
And Mark Henry will get his panties all in a wad about the most insignificant stuff. He once went on a tirade about how someone stayed in the ring during the intro for Bianca Belair. Acted like it was the most disrespectful thing he has ever seen. Like man get over it, no one cares.
Bu TK intimated again in that interview at health issues for Britt so if that's true then not much he can do about it.

Steve Borden Jr, Sing's son, is making his indie wrestling debut tonight at DEFY in Seattle. He has one prior match at some art gallery exhibit where Darby booked the matches.
Was really excited to see Penta v Finn Balor and hoped they’d get a decent chunk of time. They got about eight minutes of tv time with a commercial break in the middle. I am disappointed.
Historically speaking he isn’t wrong.

650k for NXT might be the Oba return factor. One thing fans forget is CW is paying for a decent roster and show. The idea to immediately bring talent up isn't a good one because 1) if you drain the talent pool, NXT could wind up with Collision-like numbers and 2) main roster creative has shown it's difficult to just plug anyone in. Oba, Saints, Page, Monroe, Grace, etc. are ready but if they all come up at once, who's left for Tuesday's? It's just a balancing act. They'll be called up next year at different points.
Stevie saying Logan Paul is better than anyone in AEW really shook some trees. You know the bait is good when multiple AEW wrestlers are either asked about it or decide to comment on it. For the record,

Bigger star? Yes.
