Titles don’t mean **** in CMLL because they have 31. No, 31 is not a typo

And they’ll just put a title on someone and leave it there for years without caring about it. Gran Guerrero just lost it after holding it for 1117 days. He made 8 defenses in that span. And none were against Místico, so that tells you how little they value it if their top star never even competes for it.

But still kinda neat for Claudio to win it

Imagine being told when Cena announced his retirement that three of the four people who would be competing to be his final opponent were Solo, Knight, and Jey USO lol

Not Punk
Not Roman
Not Breaker
Not Cody
Not Drew
Not Styles
Not Orton
Not Mysterio
Not Carmelo
Not Sami
Not Trick
Not Oba
Not Lesnar (though he was still inactive at that time i believe)

But Uso, Knight, and Solo. Three guys who don’t need the rub and/or have little to no history with Cena.

I don’t know why the E didn’t take the easy layup with Steiner’s kid getting the rub of putting Cena down in the last match.
They either don’t want Mr. Compromised to a permanent end to lose in front of Trump or they want him losing to the foreigner heel in Gunther since Trump hates immigrants so much. The heat brother!

I think Steiner’s kid was supposed to dethrone Seth at WM

Gunther will be a main event guy and feud with Lesnar - not saying he should be the last opponent but that’s where it’s prob going

Not surprised by this, his recovery rate is a very far cry from what it was pre-diverticulitis. Kenny in marquee singles matches is likely going to be major PPV only and then I am guessing he retires at the end of his current contract.

Big chance for New Japan to change their cratering momentum here with the huge attendance + the show being on TV in Japan for the first time in many years. Wonder how they manage to find a way to screw it up.

One of the last singles matches Kenny had on tv, I forget who it was against but he about smashed his head trying to do what would he a simple for him hurricanrana. I think I posted about it on here, but it was noticeable. And made me a little sad.

So does yttv have the espn unlimited included now? I’m not watching the whole survivor series but might check in here or there.

The visual of this when you think about the lack of build is kind of nuts. But even without Cena they probably still do around 40k. It's one of the big four, with two gimmick matches, on a long holiday weekend, with big stars involved. If Swift's last mega stadium tour proved anything, it's that thousands will pay insane amounts of money for once or twice a year spectacles.

It was either Becky lynch or Waller/ theory I’d be puzzled it be theory bc after Waller turned on him you’d think he’d come back as a baby face.

I’ve never seen this Lash Legend girl but she gave Charlotte a really good looking choke slam.

Ya I saw her in royal rumble last year and she was impressive - apparently she was very raw and has become what they hoped what jade Cargill would be.

Women's WG was kind of forgettable. Wish Naomi was involved (thanks Big Jim).
Cena vs Dom was a lot of fun. Sorry but it was.
Vaquer vs Bella was fine but how AEW fans feel about Baker is how WWE fans feel about the Bellas.
Men's WG was fun with a lame finish but it'll keep people guessing until Monday which is what WWE wants. They crave that cinematic continuation from week to week. Brock, man. It's just crazy watching him toss grown *** men around like they're enhancement talent.

I think AEW is way more creative with these types of matches but like I said before, Blood & Guts was in front of like 5k on a random Wed night. They just don't do spectacle well. WWE has mastered spectacle but they're not as creative at times.

Rumor has been Theory for months. I know Cornette loved him once upon a time and I'm sure Heyman does too. Likely either him or Trick. Gotta be someone young though.

She’s been botching it almost every time since returning from injury, and the botches are getting progressively worse. That was one of the worst botched moonsaults I’ve ever seen. Certainly the worst of the ones that didn’t cause an injury. Producers need to step in at some point and tell her she’s banned from doing it on TV until she can demonstrate consistency with it in training.
I’m impressed she landed on her feet. I couldn’t do that.

The women’s match was fine. It just suffered compared to the car wreck the AEW women put on two weeks ago.

Id vote that no one ever use the 619 that isn’t Rey. I’ve never seen one nearly as quick as his and everyone else’s looks awful.

Liv Morgan looked exceptionally good tonight.

Vacquer is really good. She’s going to be a star for a good long time. Match was just meh as Bella doesn’t need to be in a match like this anymore.

I didn’t check the time, but it seemed like the mens’ match was really short.

Overall the four matches wouldn’t make me pay any extra for the upgraded espn if I apparently didn’t already get it for free.

Women’s WG being forgettable is disappointing to read. Guess they just ain’t got it in them for stuff like that like the AEW women do.

But also, WWE having to keep everything PG just makes it that much harder for them to pull off something good like this, really forces them to have to get creative and well…

WWE has to do spectacle to make up for their bad creative and mid wrestling. Basically like a hot girl who has little to nothing to offer beyond being hot.
