That would just be stupid on AMC’s behalfI'm surprised they didn't want to move it to Wednesday's.
There's really no good day for TNA at this point or anything for AEW outside of Dynamite, to be honest. Same reason (amongst many other reasons) why I think any potential ROH TV deal would be dead in the water before it even started unless they did something different and went outside of primetime.WWE, particularly NXT, will still have a partnership with TNA moving forward. I'll give their first episode a shot, likely won't stick with it, but I'll see what they do. Guessing Styles will be on that first show. Ratings wise, Dragon will need to prepare himself, at least for week one. Raw and NXT will promote TNA and that first show may pop a surprisingly good rating and could beat Dynamite. Again, probably for a week or so. The conspiracy angle (let's be honest, made up by the AEW faithful) of TNA switching to Wednesdays was always silly. TNA isn't in the strongest position and will need to earn back trust. You just don't immediately put the show against another wrestling show that's in a more stable and better position. Good opportunity for TNA though. I do believe some of the NXT audience will watch so next year if TNA grabbed 350k-500k per week, it wouldn't surprise me.
If anyone dos the twitter, there is an account called @vintagepuro that has linked highlights of Takeshita's first match against El Generico from 13 years ago. Take couldn't have been 185 lbs soaking wet back then. Neat to see his growth over the years, that might be kind of natural!
It’s funny in a way that he is the IWGP Champ now when NJPW didn’t have any interest in him for years even though he wanted to be there. We think of Takeshita as an overnight sensation because he showed up in AEW seemingly out of nowhere (to most in the U.S. at least), but dude has put in the work and paid his dues.
I was trying to look close enough at the video to see if he has that growth on his nose back then, but I couldn't.
And of course he was cut but very thin in the video, he has bulked up so much since.
Nope she’s terribleNo one wants to see a damn rematch

Curious how those heel v. heel matches in the Continental Classic tonight play out.Dynamite for tonight from Indianapolis.
AEW Champion Samoa Joe and Eddie Kingston to face off.
Holiday Hardcore Death Match: Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa vs. Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir - AEW Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament Semi-Final.
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Jon Moxley - Continental Classic.
Pac vs. Kazuchika Okada - Continental Classic.
Kyle Fletcher vs. Kevin Knight - Continental Classic.
True. One positive for TNA starting on the 15th is they won't have to worry about TNF until the Fall. Creatively they've gotta get better so the LOLTNA stigma gets removed but it'll take time. You may get a couple Styles appearances and a match since it's his retirement year but TNA will need to stand on its own somewhat to grow. The partnership has worked but they're still seen as NXT's little brother right now. If AMC likes you though, they'll promote the absolute hell out of you. There's really no good day for TNA at this point or anything for AEW outside of Dynamite, to be honest. At least Thursdays on AMC should mean it basically never gets preempted to a different day or time unless it's because of some major holiday like Thanksgiving. One of numerous problems with Collision is it's constantly getting moved around to a different day or time.
Obviously Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are out of the picture because of AEW and WWE. TNA would be committing suicide going up against any of those.
Thursday sucks because of the NFL and that's the big midweek day for the NBA once football is done.
Saturdays suck in general for anything but sports regardless if there is any other weekly wrestling programming on. Plus that puts them running up against AEW/WWE PPVs at least once a month and sometimes multiple times a month. Would just be shooting themselves in the foot. Can't maintain any sustained momentum if half your shows are losing a large chunk of viewers to the big shows from the bigger companies.
Sunday nights are the most watched night of TV but that's because there's a lot of competition even outside of football season with it being a significant night for many major networks both on cable and OTA tv.
Dynamite for tonight from Indianapolis.

And at least with this deal they won't be able to get away with BS like going a whole month without any new TV after their biggest PPV of the year. Still blows my mind that they did that, some of the stupidest business I have ever seen.True. One positive for TNA starting on the 15th is they won't have to worry about TNF until the Fall. I thought it was that dude that used to be rusev’s lackey bc he looked like him no idea about the comedy folk eitherI think I’ve gotten old enough that I have just aged out of stand up comedy. I’ve not seen a comedian’s set stand out to me in years. It might be like how older people hate new music.
