I'll see what I can do, bud. Do we follow each other on twitter? I can't recall but let me know the email/digits in a PM somewhere and I'll see if it's possible. I had a buddy that is a huge fan of Paige and was going to be listening in but got called into a meeting right before.

This will be the hardest one and the biggest one for me. The longer the career, the harder it is to condense a million questions you may have into a 15 minute interview all while not trying to sound like a fanboy.

What's your Twitter ( @MemphisHistory here...dedicated to Memphis "rasslin"

One of the best things is Jerry Lawler tweeting out the art I do in there. He got me into drawing, so when he tweets stuff out...it's pretty cool!

...and be sure to check out the 605Superpodcast as well.

Surprise Reigns appearance meet with boos.

lol back to the drawing board Vince - again.

I missed Raw for the third straight week because I've been swamped with everything. I only saw this on twitter. Is this what you're describing?

Edited, I assume?

Since there are a lot of old school fans here...

Many of you remember Kamala. In the last few years, he's experienced a variety of health issues, including losing both legs.

I designed a bunch of shirts for him and helped him open a store in ProWrestlingTees.com.

Check them out and if you buy one, all proceeds go directly to James (Kamala). Thanks!!!

Dude I had no idea that was you either...very cool.

Just followed you as well. The Memphis Heat documentary a few years ago was awesome, talking about old school wrestling. Grew up watching it every Saturday morning.

So HHH got 6 staples in his head from last nights run in with Reigns.

Anyone going to Smackdown tonight up in Cinncy??

How about Y2J being an awesome ring general. His most recent return to WWE has me liking him so much more than I have in the past. When he says he is the best at what he does, he isn't lying.

Come to think of it, several veterans of the ring made positive contributions last night.

HHH seriously taking one for the team just to try and get Reigns over.
Foley passing the torch to Ambrose
Flair saving his daughter during the promo. What could have been horrible he made gold.

Really solid work by those four guys last night.

The videos did not look good. He hit it pretty well and continued for another minute or two. I would have been screaming and acting like one of those soccer players that trips over a blade of grass.

My problem with this is WWE's continuous reliance on legends and vets (also taker/Cena) and not having the confidence to let the new blood run with the ball so to speak.

I agree with you in that aspect, but it was nice to see the veterans take care of the young talent in several different ways last night. From taking a beating, to calling off a match. Maybe it happens more than I realize, and just happened to notice it last night. It seemed like the vets weren't trying to take the spotlight, but protect the young talent and and pass the torch to an extent.

I also assume you will be drunk (St. Patricks Day) during the labor?

Even if he did what would it matter? He got Vince to get up off his butt and make his company get better. Nash is linked to the start of the Monday Night War that made Stone Cold..so he can do what ever he wanted or wants. I almost mark for him as I do Orton.

This can't be real. Another Nash hater, he has a big fan base even bigger then Flair/Hart/HBk/ you guys talk about alot.

A Hall Of Fame God.

There are plenty of pod cast, and documentaries on the subject, and several things are very clear.

Bischoff was damn good at his job.
Nash is/was all about the money
Hall, one of the smartest guys around the business
Austin Monday night wars sent him over the top...call it Nash, call it Vince improving his product.
AOL wanted WCW dead and made sure it happened
Russo [sick] man made one or two good moves in his career and the rest were laughers

Pretty sure I covered the main parts there.

Okay you mouth breathing Mongoloid. What the touch does my size have to do with anything? I'm a fit, average size marathon runner. Go waddle your fat *** down to Sizzler, grab some cholesterol, do everyone a favor and have a heart attack so you'll stop posting here.

Why the touch don't you go back under the rock and stay there?

You like the attention you get from terrible posts, don't you?

Kevin Nash was a terrible wrestler. He was a terrible booker. He killed WCW. He was Oz. He was Vinnie Vegas. He did, indeed, suck dick. Do you watch him in "Magic Mike" and jerk off?

I like - this will shock you - GOOD wrestlers. Regardless of size. I liked Edge. He wasn't little. I liked Bam Bam Bigelow - he was a pretty big fella (though he never really got over and never really drew a dime). Hell, I was a Kerry Von Erich mark (though I understand that he sucked). I like Jack Swagger - he's not small. I think he's not used well and I think the right push/presentation could make him at the very least a very good mid-carder.

I didn't like Punk initially. His mic work and ring work won me over. I always liked Bryan. They have matches that aren't boring. They're fast paced and exciting. I know, you're going to say, "But he's a kicker." So touching what? Wrestlers have to strike. Punch or kick. Your choice.

I bet you prefer Joey Ryan though, don't you?

I didn't have a problem with him losing to Rollins but the WM 31 match I thought was dumb. Instead of Sting wrestling his first match it became NWO vs. DX.
14 years later and Vince still won't let anyone from WCW look good at WWE's expense.

That is one of the main reasons why the Invasion angle bombed so many years ago. Well that and having Buff Bagwell wrestle in your first WCW Main Event of WWE television.

The lack of respect for Nash is crazy. He started and was 1/3rd of the greatest period in wrestling history. Him and Hall were the absolute best in the world when they went to WCW. They were very good prior to that in the WWF as well. I'd give anything to turn back the clock so I could relive 90's wrestling or to have those guys in this time period. Guys now can't hold a candle to guys like Nash, Hall, HBK, Austin, Rock, Brett, Sting, Hogan, Savage, Luger, Goldberg and Doink.:sunglasses:

Just interviewed Rob Schamberger, WWE's artist. That guy was super fun and extremely talented. He's painting the main event at Mania live at Axxess.

Nash isn't underrated at anything, excepting stealing money and sucking.

He was pushed to the moon in WWF and didn't draw, sell merch, sell PPVs, or get great crowd reactions. He got hot for 18 months alongside Hall and Hulk GD Hogan, after which WCW went into the tank. Thanks in large part to him and his awful booking.

Nash and Hall are the 25 year olds who hang out with high school kids trying desperately to act too cool, because everyone their age sees through their BS. They lie constantly and make up most of their "accomplishments" and marks just repeat it like gospel. Scott Hall was a decent character and worker, and is slightly (only slightly) more believable than Nash, but both can go get pumped

Nash was a douche. He sucked in the ring. He got himself to be the one to beat Goldberg, the hottest thing WCW had going for it and then only to do the finger poke of doom.

Nash got over and was part of a hot angle. That doesn't mean he was GOOD. He was in the right place at the right time. Hell, if WCW would have signed Bret & Owen to do the nWo angle it would have been even BIGGER and it would have had GREAT matches. The angle got over because WCW had WWF guys acting like they were still with WWF. Nash is like a douche version of Tubby Smith. Tubby won a title with Pitino's players (right place, right time). Then his recruiting (booking) led to mediocrity (the downfall of WCW).

With the invasion angle, I never really took it the way as "they're still with WWF OMG!!! WHAT ARE THEY DOING ON WCW!?!?!?"

Because I had enough sense to know they wouldn't be allowed on Nitro unless they were in WCW now. I knew what was going on, but even at 11 I didn't buy it. Just thought it was really cool to have Diesel and Razor on WCW in regular clothes using their real names.

But the marks thought it was real.

I thought it was cool because it was something different.

Maybe Bret & Owen couldn't have made it work just as well since they didn't have gimmicks per se and actually did wrestle with their real names, but the angle made Hall & Nash bigger than they were before they left.

So you're telling me there's people out there that REALLY thought WCW would allow WWF wrestlers to be on their show, use their airtime, and wrestle in their ring? Not believing in it in a Santa Claus sense, but ACTUALLY believed that's what was happening?

:(

I was young and didn't look at Sports Entertainment the way I do today, ok?!

at the time when rassling had been in a several year funk of nothing interesting or new, the Hall/Nash angle in WCW was cool and fresh. Then the Hogan heel turn, a babyface at the top of the card for 12+ years? Forgetaboutit. Just a shame they had noone creative enough to prevent bunch of jobbers like Bagwell join in, or have an endgame planned out beyond Sting going over Hogan at Starrcade '97.

and them doing that slapped some jumper cables on Vince's nuts & caused him to up his game to 11. hello reality era, hello giving the mic to Austin & Rock, letting them say whatever the hell they wanted.

The Horseman + Sting should have ended the NWO after a 14 month feud. At the celebration after the ultimate victory...horseman beat down Sting

Don't know if anyone still watches Tna but it was sad standing in Universal watching a guy for over an hour trying to give tickets away. He said it was for a tv taping, I am with my entire family and unfortunately the only one that likes wrestling or I would have went.
