As far as the rumor of Vince giving up on Reigns - I kinda of doubt that. Everyone knows that Vince hates to be wrong about something and always has to win in the end. I find it hard to believe that if he has been so hard headed about Reigns the past 2 years, that he would give up now.
That being said it has been close to 2 years of a huge push for Reigns. Vince has made creative bend over backwards to try and get him over as a face. When you have to "mute" the crowd for his entrances and stop him from come out through the crowd than it's probably not working. That plus the fact that ratings are not helping - outside the uptick after Payback - and you can see why maybe Vince may think it's time to move on.
I know I've not been the biggest Roman guy, but it's not because of him. It's because of the "forced" push for a guy who did nothing to earn it other than have the supposed "look" to Vince.
Obviously the guy can be a big star - maybe not face of the company - but a star. He is a great athlete and can work good matches with guys who are better in the ring than he is. In time he will get better in the ring too. Has a lot of work to do on the mic, but again that has a lot to do with creative trying to get him over and tell him what to do.
@HeismanWildcat85 is right the best thing to do is turn him heel. It should have happen a long time ago and let him cut promos like this:
That is the Roman we should be getting right now.
