The AJ/Cena angle is great and features arguably the two biggest stars in the business over the past 10 year. Cena here in mainstream WWF, and Styles in TNA/Japan. It sucks that neither one has a strap to put on the line, but it's finally something that the fans want as you could see on Raw.

Speaking of which, that crowd reaction to both in the ring was unbelievable. You could tell that John or AJ had no clue that the pop would be like it was. They couldn't even keep kayfabe during the chants.

I hate they turned AJ. I bet like everybody else once Cena beats him then he's back in the middle of the card. Sure he'll main event again.. But not for awhile.

It's going to be between Ambrose or KO winning MITB. So who do ya have winning? Who should win?

AJ jobbed to ancient part timer Jericho at wm, then twice to unpopular unover Roman 2X. Now nonsense heel turn & forming "The Club" now, but not when the title was on the line?

He will get the Kevin Owens treatment, win first ppv match then burried for 2 or 3 months by supercena, who also level Anderson & gallows in the process. Because Vince gotta Vince.

Haven't watched RAW yet but last week AJ told Anderson and Gallows he didn't need them anymore and as of last night apparently has unified with them for the second time in WWE - who exactly is in charge of booking this? Leave it to WWE to completely ruin the booking of "The Club".

It was a setup, a fakeout, a ruse if you will(in my best Dusty voice). Just to set up Cena for last nights beatdown.

AJ has been in programs with a Hall of Fame guy (Jericho), the WWE Champ (Reigns), and now is going into a program with the face of the company of the last 10 years (Cena). I wouldn't exaclty call that being buried.

Not sure anyone who made their name in TNA could come in and expect more. WWE really didn't know what to expect with him and I am sure they are surprised as anyone as how big he really is with fans.

There was no way he was going to win his first WM match or win the title less than a year in. Let's be realistic and remember that you are dealing with Vince.

My only complaint is that they turned him heel. Guy is in his late 30's and there is money to be made with him. Why turn him heel and waste more time. He should be a face.

Waiting for Cena to face Reigns in a Detroit match (no jobs).

Anderson and Gallows already got beat by Usos, who cares that they attacked Cena?

Booking by coin flip.[poop]

Yup now that I've watched RAW the debut of the Club should have been booked exactly how it was last night instead of all this bs booking over the last 3 months teasing if AJ was going to join them or not.
Losing to the Uso's diminishes the "impact" that Gallows/Anderson has but if you book the Club debut as beating down New Day and Cena then the fans think oh **** these guys are going to be legit and tough to deal with.

Cena going on about the new era and how he runs the place and it's awful to hear. Somebody should have told him that Reigns is the new era and face of the company.

The wrestling on Impact is usually pretty good but these angles just suck.
Of course you could say the same thing about Raw.
Thought Monday's show was ok, totally agree with you all about the Club. It is like Vince has to job guys out when they first come in then push them. I don't get it and never have.

I think Matt wants to be on Lucha Underground and that was his audition.

The jobbing is just the Big Dog (Crazy Grand Pa) establishing dominance. Also if Vince didn't make you then you have an uphill battle in WWE.

I am really curious to see where AJ will be in 6-12 months. My guess is wrestling in Japan or straight man in a Gold Dust sketch or bustin' some rhymes with R Truth.

Do we make a SD and Raw made up roster with the top card? My idea on draft

Raw Reigns, Ambrose, Orton, KO, New Day, Leaser

SD Cena, Styles, Rollins, Y2J,

Just let Raw have the better roster, but give SD lots of star power plus a better mid card to go after the World Title if it returns.

Edge GM of SD. Pay Stone Cold big money to run Raw.

How about we stop talking about a ****** Matt and Jeff Hardy match and talk about Ricochet and Will Osprey. Holy **** what a match. So much fun and those guys are some athletes.

I haven't seen that match yet, but it seems to have split the wrestling community down the middle on those that love it and those that hate it.

If you like no selling, illogical match structure, and impressive overly scripted flips you will love it.

Speaking of, anyone else watch NJPW on AXSTV? If so, thoughts on Josh Barnett on color? He does a pretty good job of getting moves and angles over, but man he is a charisma vacuum. He's super knowledgeable, but just really underplays everything

Aren't you a Kevin Nash fan? Speaking of no selling...unless it is, of course, one of his quads.

You feel the need to stick up for rampage? Saying we should talk about a match with not alot of selling?

And you go on about a quad? The IQ on here

Haven't seen the match, but if they didn't sell, it's my number one complaint about lucha and indies. Moves should wear you down. You should be weakened and slow. End of story.

Here's the rub - "I hate Cena because he doesn't sell." Next sentence, "Oh, Puma didn't sell and always overcomes insurmountable odds. He is great!". Yeah, I get it - I'm tired of Cena. But last year when I got the Pepe Lopez network I asked if "Puma" was Spanish for "Cena". I stand by that.

Yep was just going to post that, wonder what is going on with Brock and WWE?
If he does return that might be the biggest PPV in UFC History.
Maybe they are doing something where Ronda Rousey can do another appearance for WWE??

And I am starting to seriously doubt if Punk ever does anything with UFC

Punk knows that if he loses, no one gives a **** about him anymore. His ego cannot handle a loss, which is why he will never have a single UFC match.

Guys like Brock can take a loss because he's won the UFC title before. 200 pound guys like Punk don't have that luxury.

Punk will never have a UFC match. Reports are that he absolutely gets destroyed in sparring, let alone on the big stage. He may luck into a win at some local MMA deal like you see at the National Guard Armory, but he is no where near skilled enough for UFC. He's simply a name alone.

I don't see any way Vince agreed to this unless White gives Brock some body that he can destroy.

Still surprised that they worked something out.

It's too big of a risk to put him against a true top flight guy, but imagine if Brock walked in and beat a top 5 heavyweight in the UFC.

Comes back at Summerslam wins the title shortly after and keeps it until he dies. Have him make more appearances (not wrestling, just to keep the belt around), but give him a true Hogan type run.
