Why would UFC invade?

Even if they dog stop the WWE guys, they still are associating their "legit" (just like boxing, you can't tell me they don't work outcomes) sport with "fake" wrestling. That would absolutely hurt their image.

If they lose it's even worse, and WWE going over is the only way Vince would go for it.

Just literally makes zero sense

All that makes perfect sense...BUT. You have 1 1/2 crossover stars as of right now with Brock and the tease of Punk...they may see it as a money grab for the UFC fighters to try their hand at "entertainment".

WWE would be working the "angle" by hiring these guys to limited contracts. The UFC wouldn't be affiliated with it at all. If the UFC doesn't like that, restructure contracts not to let their stars appear elsewhere. When it comes to contracts, the WWE seems to have a better handle on how to operate with crossover stars.

However signing guys like McGreggor, Brock, Punk(?), et al just to drive up buy rates for one or two shows a year pretty much demoralizes locker room morale. Puts a "black eye" on true company guys who live for "the business."

I think it's zero chance too, just throwing out "conspiracy speculations."

Anyone been to one these WWE Live events? Is it worth the time/money to see since it is not a Raw or Smackdown?

They're more fun than Raw is because they have more freedom due to not being televised.

You'll get more wrestling and some comedy as well. Plus, the types of matches are pretty badass. One house show a few weeks ago had Reigns/Balor vs Rollins/Styles. KO is heavily featured as well. Just depends on the show, I guess.

That's pretty cool.

Looking at ticketmaster they have regular tickets and two different VIP packages which $299 or $599. I am amazed at the VIP prices. You get ring side seats for $599 and a meet and greet with random WWE superstars. Close to ring side with $299.

If I go it will be regular tickets of course.

I would love to sit ringside. I've sat dead center middle of the ring in the lower arena seats for WWE but never on the floor. I imagine that would be awesome but if I was going to do that, I would try and get those seats for a PPV and if I'm not mistaken, Indianapolis is getting one next month. I'd be tempted to do that.

I haven't been to a house show for WWE since spring of 2015 but at least then, you got some cool matches and usually they throw a NXT match on there. On two separate house shows I got Zayn vs Neville and Balor vs Breeze.

It's just a lot of fun.

Rumor is Balor has a torn labrum, also suffered a dislocated shoulder on the powerbomb to the barricade. He popped it back in place and finished the match.

Dont forget Nikki Bella, she just came back so she Bayley and Nia Jax can wrestle.

Same move that ended Sting's career?

Almost makes you pissed off that Rollins has yet again caused an injury. I really wanted Balor to have the belt and looked forward to a new era. Now we're going to be stuck with GD Rollins having the belt forever.

Hate it for Balor too especially because they pulled the trigger on him as soon as he got to the main roster. He deserved it. Now it was over before it started.

I really don't want to see Rollins vs Reigns crap or a filler feud with Rollins and the belt. Give it to KO; not Rollins and let him do what he does.

I might just watch SmackDown as far as WWE is related...or NXT. I'm bitter and not making sense.

Sami Zayn is the worst. Just so blah. Boring as boring gets.

Actually, Jericho is the worst. Such a tool. Zayn is close behind him though.

WWE is just beyond screwed. Their entire hierarchy makes no sense and they are paying the price. Maybe if you didn't book every single person who isn't currently holding the strap to be 50/50 feud after 50/50 feud you would have a reserve of guys the fans (kayfabe) believe are legitimately worthy of being champ.

Also, Bret Hart is going to have so much to say about Seth Rollins. I will agree with all of it, FWIW

He basically killed Sting, now he's sidelined Balor for half a year, and he's right back in the title picture. I like Rollins, but GD, Miz got sent to hell for not catching R-Truth.

Bret is right. Rollins has injured Cena, Sting, himself and now Balor as well (Think he may have caused Reigns to get stithches too).

It's amazing how Hart can wrestle over 20 years and not injure anyone but Rollins has done it to three different people in a year time.

I mean, this move is BS

Here's my thing.

I'm not taking a move into a buckle. I get that the days of creative control are over. But I'm going to utilize common sense if I'm a wrestler. I'm not taking a buckle move from anybody, and Seth Rollins has enough moves that a match of his doesn't NEED a buckle spot. These dudes have wrestled each other enough times around the world that they can put together a match that is good and safe at the same time.

It's like Dean Malenko every time he signed a contract in the US. His one condition was no blood. I always respected that. Not sure I could ever give myself color if I wrestled. I'd worry I'd screw it up like Eddie during that match with JBL.

The problem is, Seth has turned that powerbomb into a buckle/barricade into a signature move. Not taking it is on par of telling Cena he can't do a five knuckle shuffle.

That's fine. A good wrestler only really needs two distinct moves - finisher, signature.

Not letting Rollins off the hook. Too many injuries are happening in his matches. I just hate it for myself and everybody else around the world named Seth. We can't win for losing.

I think it's hard to find a wrestler with more passion then Seth Rollins. He's awesome with the mic and in the ring. To me sometimes he gets boring like HHH 02-03 but he loves what he does like HHH. I think he puts a lot of pressure on himself to deliver a great match night in night out.. that somethings he goes for crazy spots not meaning to hurt anyone but to make a great match with that person.

Losing Finn is a big blow IMO, now is the time for KO and Cesaro to main event and one of them hold the title.

Didn't Jericho take down Goldberg once in WCW, maybe he could do it to Brock.
I still find it hard to believe that was the finish to that match in "PG, no blood we cater to kids WWE."

So yea Bayley finally gets to debut and of course is on Raw, Smackdown will get Liv Morgan to even it out..

Watched five minutes of Foley turned it off

Just finished watching the Lesnar-Orton match.

WWE pulls an angle and people freak? Orton blades while he's covering his head. Brock hits Orton's hands.

Now WWE will suspend Brock until Rumble.

Hope that Heyman hooks up with Slater.

My review of Holy Foley so far?
