I was in a stats class with McPhee and Carmon last year. One day after class let out I was walking behind them when they got into this old *** white 4-door pontiac or buick in that faculty parking lot between the greenhouses and Dorman. When they sat down that car made the loudest metel-on-metal screech I have ever heard, dropped down about 6 inches androcked back and forth for a few seconds. I felt bad for that poor old car.

Cool story, huh? You're welcome.

while I'm sure there is probably some heppin going on everywhere including MSU I can attest that even under Jackie some folks were straight up. I was next door neighbor to Dorsett Davis (3rd round pick and NFL player) for 2 years and he drove a POS 2 door blazer/explorer type thing that was clearly not a gift from a booster. I think Tron Thomas, his roomie, even drove something slightly better but none of us in that stretch of cheap apartments drove nice things. I did see Dontae's gold ride a few times outside as well during those years

I was about to say, some don't even have a vehicle to drive and have to catch rides home and other places....

With this like the 'Pony story' or does he go 'safe' now that he's headed to CA?

Cynical, CL history side of me thinks it won't get ink ... period. KV seems to have some fans here ...what say you?

This always makes me laugh. Both sets of our fans are delusional dipshits when it comes to the Clarion-Ledger.

If you go read a Veazey article (or really any C-L article) about anything negative with Ole Miss, the comments are rampant with our fans saying 'this wouldn't be reported if it were at State', 'why didn't you report this when you covered State', etc.

And the reverse can be said about a lot of MSU fans.

I don't think the C-L is a good rag at all by any means, but they're equal opportunity offenders. They don't show much bias in their crappy reporting. Rick Cleveland has his own personal USM bias, but aside from that, I don't see much. The reporting isn't slanted to or from one school.

but I'm glad people express this opinion. It allows me to know that I can disregard every other post they ever make.</p>
