Since Brassell committing to us caused a firestorm; I went and looked at his facebook page. I am not friends with him but he leaves everything public. I figured there would be a few congrats and what not, but some of the stuff I saw was sickening. I can understand maybe a few high school kids commenting on his status saying, "Oh come on dude you dont want to go to State." or "Ole Miss is where you want to go dude." But no, you see these really creepy messages from guys in their 30's 40's and 50's with them and their 6 and 10 year old daughters in their profile pictures. It was really sickening. There was no doubt in my mind these were the people that post the comments on the Clarion Ledger blogs.

for whichever program is losing. Maybe they think they can play sooner and that's all they care about. I say this because we were dominating with in-state commitments and signings over the past couple of years while our program was looking weaker. Now that we've had a successful year and look like we may be loaded for bear for a few years and just blew away a prominent opponent in a NYD bowl game guys are wanting to renig on their commitments to us. Of course, on the other hand, now its looks like the Confederates are the weaker program and they, for whatever reason, are starting to get all of this renewed interest from guys that we thought we had pretty much locked in. Only common denominator is that the weaker program is somehow more attractive to a lot of these guys and winning is not the priority.

Maybe this is his way of countering Tobias' hat fake move at the AA game. He's a Dawg through and through! I want no sympathy for those SOBs from Oxford next November. No kneeling at the end of the game this time. Let's crush skulls and take folks down.

I think we see that same attitude within another sport at MState and look at the condition that program is in. Personally, I'd like to see us go after the guys who strive to get better and not the ones that think they've already arrived.

I agree that he's a dawg all the way, but what's wrong with going through the entire recruiting process. Hell I know if I was offered 5 free trips basically to anywhere in the country(Hawaii, Miami, Arizona State would be my three "dummy" visits, lol), I'd be all over it and take all 5. To be honest I'd probably play the whole process up just like he is, just to stir up and see how rediculous I can make all of the 30, 40, 50 yr old men that are stalking my facebook and commenting on the status updates.
