That said, I wish him no ill will, but I do think he made a stupid choice. IF in fact he signs with OM, I will root against him.

He is the one who quoted his father saying a word is the only thing you have, not me.</p>

and whatever reason he chose Ole Miss - his deceased dad shouldn't be brought into it after the fact.

Well, I guess that's one way to make your decision. Listen to all the facebook followers, probably 85% of which are high school age or haven't attended Miss. State nor Ole Miss. <div>
</div><div>I'm not making decisions that are going to affect the rest of my life based on what things people who have absolutely nothing to do with me are telling me on facebook. Doesn't seem like a great "life choice" to me. Now if he truly decided he wanted to go to Ole Miss, so be it, but like all of you, I still haveabsolutely no understanding on how our "strongest recruit" 9 months ago could have such a change of heart. Doesn't make sense to me.</div><div>
</div><div>I like the days where I didn't pay attention to recruiting. </div>

...and one of the things he shouldn't have was talk to a reporter and quote his deceased father.

CJ, hope you enjoy getting that *** whipped the next four years by the school you didn't feel so comfortable at anymore after Diaz left. And I hope you enjoy the drive home past Starkville after it happens.

Well that sucks. Everyone on here that said half backwards comments at C.J. and the people on facebook are all 17n stupid. This player needed to be sold on our atmosphere and everyone on here just turned against him once he looked the other direction. Only problem is that next year, when Ole Miss goes 4 and 8 those fans are going to turn on him too. I am pretty sure SixPack is to blame on this situation. If I did a quick count on the number of negative messages posted in the last month about CJ, I bet it would be ridiculous.

How about we stop working against our coaches.

I know he dominated the AL-MS all-star game. Given that, what more do you really need to see or know?

Egg, and he's been talking us up for months, and all of sudden he has a change of heart. No one on this board called him out, if anything people were trying to get him to open his eyes to what is reality, and look at the 2 schools logically. If you blaming the Pack for his decision, guess what, you better get to posting because you might be banned much sooner then you think. Take your spineless *** back to Gene before you get hurt!!

the messages I saw here were all about how good CJ is and how bad we needed him even if we lost some of the others. Now there were certainly plenty here messaging that they had sources saying a "deal" was going down on the TSUN side to get CJ and we wouldn't get him. I guess if that's negative then there was certainly plenty of negativity. And I guess if its all absolutely not true it is negative but usually if something walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its a duck.

If coaches are losing recruits due to what anonymous posters say on the interwebs, they need to be fired.

Bottom line, ifthese recruitsdon't want to come to State, good for them. I don't care. It's not going to ruin my day. If they want to go to a different school,I wish them luck.......the luck of never winning another football game, ever.Nothing personal though.</p>

Then following 18 year old kids (especially on facebook) about which college they go to. He is one guy, won't be the last guy we lose. Everyone complained about Patterson last year and now look at him. No one said anything when 2 star patrick Willis signed with ole miss and look where he is now. It's all about how you coach him. The only exception to being pissed at recruiting is Cam Newton.

Majority of y'all have to be very young to get so worked up about it

how does a kid growing up a Bulldog, his deceased dad was a Bulldog, he gets a lanyard ripped from his neck by a rebel at the Egg Bowl, but somehow it's logical that he commits to them despite all of this? Oh, did I mention their defense and DC suck?
