CJF to VA Tech

Good hire for VA Tech.

[NoSoup4U]

Will he rehire Pry to a lesser role?

I have assumed this is the most obvious destination. It's the 11 million that makes this post ridiculous.

This has Jimmy Sexton written all over it.....basically warning Arkansas, Florida, and LSU that JF may be off the market so hurry up. Might also be a ploy for some of the schools that "may" be looking at making a change.

This has, obviously, not happened yet, but James would do very, very well at VTech. It would definitely be a big boy move for them, but the fan base would be delighted to win all but one or two games a year. He has several capable assistants on his Rolodex, as well as athletes that will follow him. In terms of recruiting, he will likely be hard to beat in the DMV. I wish him success,

Especially when that’s his literal handle.

Clarifying for myself: CJF to Virginia Tech as HFC is currently no more than a rumor.

[doctornick]

Obviously just a rumor (and the $11M is clearly just a joke) but there has legit been smoke about this and it does make a lot of sense. Supposedly, he has also been talking to Arkansas but I think VA Tech would be more likely.

While I wouldn't want him to be recruiting directly against PSU, it would be great if he gets hired right away as it will reduce what PSU owes him.

Oh, 100%. Solid take.

College football troll is obviously not a great source of information, but there is enough chatter out there on X that I think this is a real possibility. I’d rather he go out west than our backyard.

I’ve been out of the country for a month, I don’t know ****. To be fair, I wouldn’t know **** even if I had stuck around.

I feel bad for all of us because I’ve seen some pretty gullible to down right stupid younger people.

LMAOROFL I am 81 and have been living a great life in Mt Dora FL, one of America's best retirement communities.
I have money to be generous and to to what I want. I walk 2-5 miles per day, work in the yard and enjoy my daughter and her family who live near by. Life is good when you live it with Jesus.

Franklin wants to land somewhere where winning a national championship is possible. I would think he holds out for the FSU job. Va Tech is probably his plan E at this point

[Tom McAndrew]

Good grief.

We are not using College Football Troll as a source.

I'm locking this thread -- total nonsense.
